Meet Jazzy, a nine year old German Shepherd mix.Jazzy was found wandering around. Her coat had many painful burrs in it and her ears are missing fur, probably from a substantial amount of fly bites. This 93 pound girl has been bred multiple times and is more than ready to retire from that life. She is looking from a home that loves the German Shepherd breed and the unconditional love and loyalty they provide. She is a sweet and gentle soul that can’t wait to make you the center of her universe. She walks well on her leash and has a mature dignity to her. This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. Story
Meet Mocha, a ten month old German Shepherd/Pit mix.Mocha is a very sweet girl who loves gentle affection. She has a gentle soul that you can see through her eyes. Mocha is medium size weighing in at 32 pounds and we don`t expect her to get much bigger. She came to us with a funky front leg so we had it X-Rayed and it looks like an old fracture that healed weird but she is doing well and there is nothing to be done about it. Mocha is working on her leash walking, she is still very puppy and trying to figure out new things. This submissive girl has unique colors and markings and she just wants love/attention. She met another dog at the shelter and did fantastic with him, however, she was much more interested in human affection and wouldn’t mind being the only dog in the home. Meet Porkie, a three year old German Shepherd mix who weighs in at 75 pounds.Porkie got her name because she came in with a face full of porcupine quills… Oops! Poor girl definitely felt better when we were able to remove them. She is very sweet but a bit unsure and clearly hasn’t been on a leash before, but she will scoot closer for some love and is very treat motivated! Porkie just needs someone who will give her a little time to open up, we see so much potential with her! Story
Meet Blue, a one year old German Shepherd/American Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing in at around 70 pounds.Blue is a beautiful girl who came from a house that had too many dogs and was quickly overwhelmed as they continued to breed. Several rescues were involved in rehoming the animals and altering them over the past several months. She is a little unsure which is too be expected as she only knew one home her whole life and is now living at a shelter facility. This girl is friendly and lowkey. She walks well on leash and really has a sweet disposition. With a little TLC this gentle sweet heart will blossom.
