Story
Ghost is a strikingly handsome young boy with a strong personality and a heart full of love to share! This confident pup knows what he wants, and he’ll fit perfectly into a home that appreciates his independence and zest for life. Ghost loves being around people and kids, and his playful spirit shines when he’s out and about with his human friends. Ghost does best with female dog companions and would thrive in a home without cats. His ideal family is one that loves to stay active and can match his adventurous energy. If you’re the kind of family that enjoys hiking, jogging, or exploring the outdoors, Ghost will be your loyal sidekick every step of the way. He’s a smart boy who enjoys learning, and he’d love a family dedicated to continuing his training and mental enrichment. If you're ready to welcome a bold, spirited pup into your life, Ghost is ready to be your loyal, lifelong friend! To add Ghost to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2218341##

Story
I have had PJ since he was a 6 week old puppy and he is my beloved best friend. Finding a new home for him is the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever had to do. As mellow as PJ is, he is unfortunately not trustworthy with kids and we can no longer have him in our home with one small child and another on the way. He is nearly 13 years old and in good health other than increasing weakness in his hind legs. He prefers to spend most of his day laying in whatever room his humans are in, or laying outside when there is sun. He still enjoys short neighborhood walks, but exercises only a small amount these days. He has so much character and love to give and really is a good, loyal boy who would be an excellent companion for someone looking for an elderly, low maintenance dog.

Story
Meet Kuku🧡 Kuku is one of Danpoong’s five puppies. On a bitter winter day, Danpoong was brought to Koren city shelter, where she gave birth to five puppies and suffered from monge. After Adogs rescued them, the other puppies found their forever homes but Kuku and his mom Danpoong are still waiting for their family. * Interaction with people : Loves people so he greets familiar ones with kisses. Gets scared or barks at strangers who approach swiftly, though. Hides to the room after barking with fear at new people who visit home. Warms up shortly if they take time and approach him slowly. * Interaction with dog: Greets nicely other dogs and plays well with them with quick adaptation. Feels comfortable to greet other dogs calmly one by one and gets scared if too many dogs come at him all at once. * Interaction with Cats: Sniffs calmly at cats who stay still but tries to chase running cats. Attention is required. * Separation Anxiety: None at all! Plays or sleeps alone very well even without humans around. * Potty training: Prefers outdoor potty but uses indoor pads with 100% accuracy. No marking. * Hygiene: Dislikes baths as he had weekly medicated baths but gets through it well. Is scared of the blow dryer. Is afraid of having toenails trimmed and tries to nip. His nail length is being controlled with regular walks. * Walks: Has excellent walking manners so he walks beside the walker very well. May pull on the lead when dogs, birds, cats or other animals pass by swiftly. May get nervous and bark when a person suddenly comes running in his direction and is going through training. * Car Sickness: May vomit when he rides the car over 30 minutes. It would be better not to feed him before car rides. * Has mastered commands like 'sit, shake, down, nose, chin’ and is a quick learner. * Has a good appetite, so he may growl when you try to touch his snack. * May get nervous and try to bite defensively when a stranger comes to touch him suddenly. * Is scared and sometimes barks when he hears sudden or unfamiliar noises, but stops very soon. * Gets scared easily, but also is a very curious dog. Shows a lot of affection when you become close to him!

Story
Meet Danpoong🍂🍁 (Danpoong 단풍 means maple in Korean) * With People: Occasionally approaches first and sniffs strangers but is still feels awkward of being petted. It takes a while for her to accept petting. If given some time, she will show affection and follow them soon. * With Dogs: Wants to greet dogs of similar size by stopping and saying hello. Likes to play with them but prefers to run with a guardian or to smell by herself. * With Cats: Shows little interest in cats and simply waits for them to pass by when she encounters during walks. * Separation Anxiety: Does well alone at home, mostly sleeping and waiting for the guardian. * Potty Training: Definately relieve herself outdoors. Goes out often for walk because he holds it in while indoors. * Hygiene: Is not a fan of getting her paws washed or taking baths but patiently goes through them and handles tooth brushing well. Tolerates dry blowing nicely. * Walks: Occasionally pulls on the leash when she would like to go to a certain spot. Follows well in general the guardian if he or she walks ahead. Walks well in unfamiliar place. * Car Sickness: Has a car sick and feels sick a lot on long distances, so she needs care before traveling. 💟Special Notes💟 * Has mastered several commands such as "sit," "lie down," "V," "wait," and "turn around". * ls frightened by the loud noises out of the blue like fireworks or the sounds of the shutter closing. ❗❗Health Status * Spayed. * Others: Microchipped, and heartworm negative upon retest.

Story
Meet Neoul 💕 With People: Neoul is not particularly interested in strangers and doesn’t readily approach when called. She opens up more easily to women and takes time to build trust. Once comfortable, she relaxes and sleeps soundly around familiar people. With Dogs: Neoul is easygoing around other dogs but doesn’t actively engage in play. She calmly sniffs new dogs and moves on without much reaction. However, she feels a bit overwhelmed by highly energetic dogs. With Cats: She becomes excited when she sees cats and shows a strong desire to chase them. While this can result in pulling on the leash, she eventually listens to her handler’s guidance. Separation Anxiety: Neoul does well alone, entertaining herself with toys or snacks and waiting patiently for her family to return. Occasionally, she whines when she hears sounds outside that she associates with her owners. Potty Training: Neoul is 100% outdoor potty trained and prefers to do her business outside. Grooming and Hygiene: She dislikes baths, drying, and brushing teeth, so these require a calm and reassuring environment. She tolerates nail trimming and brushing well. Walking and Outdoor Behavior: Neoul walks nicely on a leash but is timid around loud noises, like car horns or flapping promotional banners. She also gets overly excited when she sees cats or birds, so close attention to the leash is necessary. Car Sickness: She experiences motion sickness, often drooling heavily and appearing uncomfortable during car rides. 💌Special Notes💌 Training: Neoul has mastered the “shake” command! Vocalization: She occasionally whines to communicate her needs. Timidity: She is cautious around unfamiliar noises near the house, growling to express her wariness. She also fears loud vehicles, motorcycles, and parking entrances. Dietary Sensitivity: Neoul cannot eat chicken breast as it causes diarrhea, so this should be avoided. ❗❗ Spayed: Yes Other: Microchipped, fully recovered from heartworm.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ Meet the affectionate boy, Podo(means grapes in Korean)🍇 He loves everyone and becomes a lovebug regardless of age or gender once he is acquainted *Bathing Podo doesn't like water, but he tolerates baths and grooming without much resistance. *Walks He enjoys three walks a day. Podo loves running and is very fast. He also enjoys digging and burying his nose in the ground. When encountering cats, other dogs, or birds, he wants to greet them and waits patiently if they approach him. Podo goes for walks regardless of the weather, and we put a raincoat on him to ensure he can relieve himself outside. *Bathroom Habits Podo is house trained so he would only go potty outside. He usually poops twice a day (morning and evening), but this can increase to three times when visiting a dog café or dog park. He is particular about his bathroom spots, preferring grassy areas and bushes. *Socialization Podo loves dogs and approaches all sizes of dogs confidently first to play together. He is a super social dog who gets along excellently with other dogs. He is gentle with smaller dogs, never barks or harms other dogs, and tends to use his paws when playing. He often lets other dogs win during playtime. He likes playing with his toys alone. *Personality Podo is not overly energetic but is very gentle and kind. Podo has become very affectionate over time, preferring to sleep next to people and seeking attention. *Separation Anxiety Podo does not have separation anxiety. As long as he gets enough exercise, he'll simply sleep in his house when no one is home.

Story
Got Luna as a puppy from a shelter at 3 months old. Raised her until about 5 years. My partner and I recently had an infant and have had to downsize our house. Unfortunately Luna cannot come with us to the new apartment but we still love her very much and would like her to have a warm and loving home. She loves to dig and run and chase smaller animals. She is crate trained and knows sit and lay commands. She is extremely sweet and loyal but needs more time and space than our family can manage at this time.

Story
Benito is a 2 year old German Shepherd Pitbull mix. He knows sit, come, down, & heel. He is randomly reactive with other dogs. He gets possessive with bones and occasionally his food. I think he will do better with an active bachelor male figure. He loves being outside, loves fetch, & going for runs. Once he is comfortable with you he loves cuddles & pets. He is a very active dog who needs an active person in his life, but also a patient one. He does have anxiety when he is not properly exercised
