Story
I acquired my pet by a private seller in Tri-cities Washington in 2020. Keanu was only around 4-7 months when adopted/homed. Educated birthday estimate for Keanu is April 20th, 2020. Keanu is 4 years of age. Keanu is a very playful, active, energetic, loving, harmless to people, busy, attention seeking dog. He will always be up for a game of fetch and playful games. Keanu understands commands to a degree, like sit, down, stay, give me your paw. Self Training was attempted to a small degree. I love Keanu but upon evaluating my situation with work and school, it has become a difficult routine to keep him active multiple times a week. It has come to my attention that I should attempt to re-home him to a home where someone will have the time to grow with him on a deeper level. A home where they can really care for him. I have many dog items that I will gladly give away also of course so the new adopter won’t start with nothing. I truly want a better home for Keanu. 509-460-7540

Story
My name is Lola, I’m not a show girl. But I am sweet as can be and loyal to a fault! I am a year and a half old, large breed mix of shepherd, Rottweiler and? I like to hang out at home with my foster parents and help with the farm chores, going for walks, playing in the water troughs and hanging out. With the help of a local trainer I have gained a lot of new skills, learned that meeting new humans is great and that her favorite dogs to make friends with are laid back adults. I am spayed, chipped and vaccinated and are ready to go! My trainer believes in me so much that she is going to give my forever humans 4 months of free training help AND pay 1/2 my adoption fee! Please inquire about me today!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Interested in adopting this or another POPP dog? Story
Nova is a sweet and calm five-year old shepherd mix. She does fine with older children, but little ones make her nervous. She loves walks, playing keep away, couch sitting, hard-boiled eggs, cheese and whip cream! This smart girl knows lots of commands: sit, shake, lay down, roll over, and go to your bed. She is fine loose in the house when no one else is home, but make sure the garbage can has a lid, lol. She does ok with other dogs as long as they are calm and nice. Nova would do well with a hiker or avid walker. Nova is currently living in an apartment and does just fine in another apartment, as long as she has her walks. We are increasingly doing "foster-to-adopt" arrangements, so if you'd like to take this pup for a trial period before committing, we're good with that. Just ask the adoption counselor! It's a great way to make sure that everyone's a good fit for each other before signing on the dotted line. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Interested in adopting this or another POPP dog? Story
Born September 11, 2019, Lando is a male German Shepherd. He has megaesophagus so he does require eating and drinking upright in a Bailey chair but is able to just eat regular kibble while in his chair. He requires 20-30 minutes upright in his chair after eating each meal. Lando is a typical shepherd who bonds closely with his people. He currently lives with other dogs and older children. Once he warms up, Lando is very goofy and silly. We do require a fenced yard and breed experience for our German Shepherds. All dogs in adopters homes must be up to date on vaccinations and altered. Homes must have a 6ft secure fence and no children under 5. Story
Update: Vela is as sweet as the day is long. She loves to be next to your side as much as possible. She can go in and out of the dog door and up and down the stairs very well by now! She still has the random accident in the house, but is mostly potty trained. Born July 6, 2019 Vela is a female German Shepherd mix. Here is what her foster mom says about her: Vela is a brave little love who is not afraid to go up OR down stairs! She tends to stick closer to her person, but does love exploring the backyard. She has figured out how to go OUT the doggie door, but struggles with getting in. Vela is a girl after her beauty sleep and will sometimes put herself to bed in the crate that she shares with her sister. Vela does not like to pee or poop in the crate and will hold it until morning when she will use a potty pad, hitting the mark about 90% of the time. Applications for Vela can be accessed at www.mikeyschance.com Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise. Applications can be found at www.mikeyschance.com and completed on a computer, tablet, and/or phone. Please note that adopters are not chosen on a first come, first served basis, but full consideration is given to the best fit for the dog AND the adopter. Applications can take up to 3 weeks to process. Application submission DO NOT guarantee approval for adoptio

Story
Born February 9, 2020 Lily aka Lily Bear, Lily Bell is a female German Shepherd mix seeking a forever home! This girl is a huge cuddle bug! She's that old saying Sweet and Spice and everything nice! She is spunky, lots of energy, sassy, and playful. You pick her up to hold her she usually cuddles right into your arms like a baby. She even reaches for you, with her front paws, if she wants you to hold her. Lily’s ideal family would be an active one who would include her in adventures like hiking, running and camping. Lily loves kids and want to be part of the action wherever she goes! Lily has Megaesophagus which is a medical condition effecting the esophagus, which is the muscular tube that carries food from the mouth to the stomach. She eats her meals in a custom built Bailey chair so she can remain upright 20-30 minutes after each meal. After that, she is right back to her puppy antics! Families who have adopted dogs with Megaesophagus report that the feeding process it is pretty easy and routine after you get the hang of it. Lily currently lives with several other dogs and one elusive cat. She is kennel trained, and currently learning how to ring a bell to let her people know she wants to go outside. Lily knows basic commands but gets excited and forgets sometimes. She definitely has the German Shepherd smarts and is highly trainable. Lily is leash trained and loves walks and car rides. All large and/or active dogs will require a full fenced (6ft) secure yard. No children under 5. Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise.
