Hi, my name is Batman! I am approximately three years old and weigh in at 70 pounds. I am a beautiful German Shepherd mix. I am a super friendly guy who loves everyone I meet. I like to be near my people and will stick to you like glue. I get along with other dogs. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I love to go on walks and am a medium energy boy. I don’t require a lot of crazy exercise. I like to just meander along and smell the roses. There are so many great things to smell out in this big ole world we live in. I walk pretty well on a leash and I am not a puller. I am house trained and crate trained. I came into rescue with a female shepherd. We were wandering around in a rural road and ended up at our foster families house looking for some food and water. They immediately took us in and have committed to our care until we find a family to call our own. She has been adopted and I do miss her. I need a family to call my own. I ride well in the car and like to be out and about. I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Hi, my name is Saro! I am approximately three years old and weigh 58 pounds. It’s pretty obvious I am a shepherd mix. I'm a sweet boy with a fun personality. I am smart and have a willingness to please. I love everyone I meet…no warm up period needed. I am a pretty social guy. I came into rescue after I was found wandering around a neighborhood with my friends Seiko and Spyker. Our friend Seiko was in heat and dogs were chasing her. Spyker and I worked tirelessly to keep her safe. She spent a lot of time hidden under a car until a nice lady helped us. She scooped us up and whisked us away to keep us safe. We will forever be in her debt. I am an energetic boy but also know when to calm down. I am both house trained and crate trained. I walk well on a leash and love to be out and about. I get along well with other dogs. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I am excellent in the car and love going places with you. Meet Valero, aka “Val”! Val is a 2-year-old neutered German Shepherd mix who weighs 54 pounds and has made an incredible comeback. Found trying to survive at a Valero gas station, Val was once emaciated and struggling with a bad eye infection and a limp. Today, he is healthy, happy, and ready to find the forever home he deserves. Val is the kind of dog who has that just right energy. He enjoys playing outside, exploring, and having fun, but he’s equally happy to come inside, snuggle up with his people, or find a cozy spot for a nap. He absolutely loves affection and will gladly roll over for belly rubs. This handsome boy has wonderful house manners. He is house trained, has never had an accident in the home, and sleeps soundly in his crate at night. He is also a great car rider, making him an easy companion for errands, adventures, and road trips. Val is doing well in a home with 4 cats and 3 dogs of all sizes—small, medium, and large. He has also been around older children at the park and has done well letting them pet him. He walks nicely on leash and can go on walks with his canine foster siblings. He is still building confidence when passing unfamiliar dogs and may bark, but he redirects quickly with treats and positive guidance. Val also has a playful side. He loves fetching the ball and is still working on the “bring it back” part, though he thinks being chased is pretty fun too. He’s also discovered that he enjoys the water and has had a great time splashing around in the creek behind his foster home. Val is a sweet, resilient, affectionate dog who has been through hard times and come out shining. Now all he needs is a family to love him forever. She is very energetic, adventurous, and absolutely loves going places with me, I’ve brought her almost everywhere with me and she does good out and about. She is very food motivated and learns quickly with treats. She is crate trained and knows Sit, Lay down, Paw / other paw, Spin, Wait and Okay release command with food. We’ve been working on heel and leash manners, still a work in progress, but she’s improving. She is mostly potty trained, with occasional accidents. She would do best with someone who is active and has the time and energy to continue her training and give her the structure she needs. She has so much potential and will thrive with the right person.
