Story
Hi, I am Lassie, As you can see I am a beautiful German Shepherd dog. I am smart and loyal to my family. I am still a bit shy when meeting new people and other dogs. I would really benefit from having a confident dog at home to learn from and bring out the best in me. I live with other dogs now and we get along great, but I need a good introduction to them to help my confidence. I don’t have much experience with cats or kids, but they might be fun to play with.I spend most of my time outside, but I know some basic commands and I go outside to do my potty. I am pretty calm when walking on a leash, but there is nothing better than going for a good run with the other dogs. I am affectionate and love to give kisses, I do that when I get a bone to chew on. They are my favorite, but I like ropes, balls, and sticks too.If you are a family looking to add another dog to your life fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of Love to share.Lassie To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

Story
DO YOU HAVE A HEATED GARAGE, SHED OR EXTRA BEDROOM? We desperately need a committed 3wk foster home to help this family. This sweet as can be mama was found wandering river banks. The Good Samaritan that found her, took her in to a local shelter. It was clear that she was nursing babies, but initially they were not found. After the person got mama Jaqueline to safety, she went back out to look for her puppies She located a community of unhoused families and began to inquire about puppies. One resident brought out a box of 10, 10 day old puppies. Luckily they eagerly gave them up so they could be reunited with mama. They are all doing well, but their time in the shelter posed its own risk. They were there for 9days with no interest so they had only 2days remaining before the entire family would’ve been euthanized. Luckily we got them out safe and into boarding. Their boarding time is up in just 4 days (Dec 14), but they have nowhere to go! The puppies are now a little over 4wks old so need to stay with their mama for at least a couple more weeks. We can then successfully separate them and start their process of finding their own forever home. It is a lot of puppies but we have just the right supplies needed so the foster job is manageable and fun. Jaqueline is a wonderful, gentle tempered, easy going girl that welcomes lots of affection and is also ok with her babies being handled. An easy going home that can give lots of cuddles to mama and the babies is required. During foster, all supplies are provided. If you could consider opening your heart and home to this sweet family please email k9cabbie@gmail.com and include your phone number. THANK YOU!December 11, 2024, 11:40 am
