Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Zodiac is a vibrant and spirited 2-year-old pup who was found nursing a litter of 9 puppies of her own. While all of her puppies have moved on to their very own families up north, Zodiac is still searching for an active and adventurous family of her own. With a zest for life and a tail that never stops wagging, she is the perfect companion! Her foster family says she loves squeaky toys, cuddles, new people, and sunbathing in the yard. Despite her active nature, Zodiac is also a true sweetheart. She adores cuddles and is always looking to impress her people. She is the perfect size at 50lbs, just right to fit on your lap! Zodiac has experienced a foster home wherein she did well overall but was just too loving for their 10 month old; as such, we recommend a home with children 6 and up. She ADORES children, but can be overwhelming with the kiss-giving(and is obsessed with diapers!) Sweet Zodiac has proven to do well with other dogs, but does prefer to be the dominant dog in a pack(gently so, but still boss dog). Zodiac has been fortunate enough to have a donated DNA panel ran, and her results are via the link below; you truly can't beat this all-American girl for her intelligence and versatility! https://www.wisdompanel.com/app/s/g13phdk If you're looking for your next companion, Zodiac's loyalty and affection may just melt your heart. *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $175 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Gracie, a pup with a zest for life! As the smallest in her litter of five, she has always had a big heart and an even bigger personality. Sweet and cuddly, Gracie loves nothing more than snuggling up for a good nap after a day full of adventures. Her curiosity is infectious, always leading her to explore and discover new things. She's friendly, playful, and smart, impressing everyone with her quick learning and adaptability. Brave and independent, Gracie is a bundle of energy, always ready for the next game or challenge. But it's her spirit that truly sets her apart. She's not just a pet, she's a companion, a friend, a source of endless joy and laughter. Story
Howdy Friends!  I'm Jake II.  I guess the II means I'm extra special.  So let me tell you about ME!  I love my foster brother and sister (the furry ones) but I LOVE the little hoomans!  They just speak my language.  My foster Mom and Dad are so cool because I have so many soft spots and beds to lay on everywhere!  They tell me "good boy" everytime I use the doggy door to go outside and when I sit like the gentleman that I am when I get my food.  I don't really "like" the crate but I understand when I sometimes have to go in there.  I have a special needs foster brother so sometimes I have to just deal with it like a big boy.  Not bragging or anything but I do run super fast and it's a blast.  I get the zoomies sometimes and I forget to put the brakes on when I go sliding into a wall.  Oh yes..inspite of my big dog looks, I LOVE to cuddle.   All Lani’s Lucky Shepherds receive an individual examination by a local veterinarian, are current on vaccinations, spay or neutered, microchipped, and tested for heart worms and other intestinal worms and parasites. All incoming dogs receive Drontal Plus de-wormer or its equivalent as an extra precautionary step to go above and beyond to keep our rescued dogs healthy. We feed our rescue dogs high quality dog food and supplements while they live in our foster homes. All these costs are paid for by our rescue. You won’t have to pay for these normal costs or bother with the headaches of having to take your new dog to a vet for all these procedures. We strongly suggest that you complete the adoption application process before choosing a dog from our web page. Most of the dogs on this web page will have approved adopters already looking at them. We get new dogs on a regular basis. The application process can take a couple of weeks depending on your schedule. You will have access to all of our available dogs once you are approved to adopt a rescue dog. Please visit www.luckyshepherds.com for more information. Please note that we only serve the Greater Houston area. We do not adopt our dogs to homes outside of the Houston and its neighboring areas. ##2172431##

Story
Hannah Banana came to us after an awesome gentleman from a Ridgeback rescue saved this girl.  He kept her for a bit and got her comfy and then sought us out as she really needed to be with folks who know her breed.  He did an awesome job with her.  She is a sweet girl, well-mannered, gets along with other dogs and LOVES kids.  She is now in a foster home with 2 young "hoomans" and she takes loving on them very serious.  There is no such thing as personal space there.  If they are playing games or sitting on the couch, she knows her job and place is right there with them and sometimes sitting on them.  She truly loves hanging out with them.  She will play with the other dogs in the home but once the little ones are around, her attention is focused on them.  Without a doubt, she will do fabulously in a home with kids and with other dogs.  She is house-trained and crate-trained.  She is truly a snuggle bug. Story
Meet the smartest and sweetest little girl, Lady.  She is approxiamely 11 - 12 weeks old.  She is almost completely potty trained.  She is crate trained.  This little thing is all that!  Just let her show you!  She loves to play with the very big dogs in her foster home.  She can be heard giving them her puppy thoughts.  She is totally fearless.  She will climb over or walk under the big kiddos with no issues.  She loves to play with toys with them.  It is hilarious watching her play tug with a rope toy with a 95 pound big boy.  She tugs and pulls with all her little might. She gets the zoomies and loves to play in the massive water bowl outside. After settling down for the night, her foster mom is spoiling her by letting her sleep free and on the bed with some of the other kiddos.  She will do great in an active house and especially with another playmate.  She is extremely intelligent and eager to learn.  She knows to sit when getting treats just like the big dogs. She will be an amazing addition to the right family. All Lani’s Lucky Shepherds receive an individual examination by a local veterinarian, are current on vaccinations, spay or neutered, microchipped, and tested for heart worms and other intestinal worms and parasites. Story
Meet Nami, a sweet German Shepherd. She's a bit shy at first, but once she trusts you, her love is boundless. Nami, a loyal companion, will fill your days with warmth and endless affection. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 She is learning to walk off-leash and come when called, however a secure fence is needed because she likes to explore. She is fully housebroken, loves any kind of attention and (usually) responds to her name when called. She understands some of the seven basic commands (sit, come, lie down; she does "shake" but it's not on-command, she just wants your hand), and could learn the others with good training and patience. When she licks to give kisses, her tongue slaps the front of her mouth, so I've nicknamed her "slappy tongue" :) Thank you for considering adoption. November 6, 2024, 4:32 pm
