This guy had a rough start. He came to us after being hit by car as a 8 week old puppy. He had a brain injury as a result of being hit, but he is a normal puppy now. Now 6 months old, he is ready for his forever! He loves other dogs and people. He is still learning how best to interact with dogs who are younger than him. Carly is five months old, spayed and UTD on shots. Carly's breed is unkown. She currently weighs about 20#. She is crate trained and doggie door trained. She would need to be trained to alert. Carly is an excellent traveler and enjoys car rides. She is also well behaved on boats and enjoys the water. Carly is super intelligent and eager to please. She's so spectacular on leash that a 6-year-old can walk her. She would make an excellent trail dog or hiking buddy. She also likes to snuggle in bed and watch TV. She's definitely a love bug. Carly has been raised with two 50# dogs and two 10# dogs. She does well with all four. She's still very much a puppy and takes being corrected by the older dogs very well. She has also been raised with cats/kittens. A growl or hiss backs her right down. She's respectful of them, but will try pushing the envelope. Carly was malnourished when found. She gets very excited at meal time. She bounds to her crate to be fed, leaping over whomever might be in her way and may knock over a small child. I am Sax and I'm fast as heck! I am an all around good boy and I love to play. I have SO much energy! I love toys and treats and I love people. I'm good with dogs who match my energy and don't mind me being super happy about everything! I am kennel trained but I hate the kennel. I am house trained and once I have a schedule I pick up on what I'm supposed to do very quickly. I'm a quick learner but sometimes you have to remind me of my manners. I would do best in a home with no cats because they love to run and though I would never hurt one, I want to chase them. I love little kids but I'm always on the go and I tend to knock them over on accident so bigger kids that will play with me would be a better match for me. My family and I rescued Bear from the Copperas Cove Animal Control Center. Bear is about 3 years old and in good health. We want to rehome him in a much more active environment because he deserves more than we can give him now. My husband and I work too much to keep up with him and our three children. Bear is such a loving boy; he loves to play, walk, and run. Bear has had some training but still needs work; he is very motivated. He will need an extra-large yard or land to explore. Bear is great around kids and very loving! We are very sad to see him go, but we know he needs more from this life than we can give him right now. (We use Taste of the Wild dog food) / (Stella & Chewy's, Honest Kitchen dog treats) We are asking $200 OBO because he is a high-maintenance breed, and we really want him to go to a good home.
