Story
Hera came to us from animal control where she was surrendered by her previous owner who could no longer care for her. Typical to her breed, Hera is extremely smart and athletic. She seems like she never got proper guidance growing up and will need someone experienced and ready to take the lead. Hera can be unsure and standoffish at first but once she is comfortable, she is a wonderful handful! Her spay will be completed before she moves into a new home.

Story
Jax; Meet Jax, a gentle hearted soul with a whole lot of love to give! This handsome boy may start off a little shy in new environments or around unfamiliar faces, but once he warms up, he's incredibly affectionate and loyal. Jax thrives on human connection- he'll nudge you for pets and proudly parade his favorite toys just to show off his playful side. Jax is a smart pup who already knows several cues like "sit", "kennel", and " come around". He will walk behind you and sit sweetly between your legs. He enjoys learning and responds well to gentle, consistent guidance. When it comes to mealtime, Jax is a slow and sensitive eater. He prefers the calm and comfort of his kennel during meals and does best when given his space, as he can become anxious if other dogs approach his bowl. Jax can be selective with other dogs, he may do well with a calm and respectful canine companion after a proper introduction. if you're looking for a loving thoughtful companion who will reward your patience with endless affection, consider giving Jax the forever home he deserves. He'll be your best buddy, your quiet comfort, and your biggest stuffed animal fan. Jax is ready to find his person- could that be you? Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 14, 2026, 2:11 pm

Story
Tennessee is the embodiment of your ideal furry companion. A striking blend of Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd, he's just 7 years young and bursting with energy. Tennessee thrives in a dynamic environment, making him the perfect fit for an active household. Despite his boundless energy, he possesses a gentle nature and remarkable intelligence. If you're seeking a trainable partner, Tennessee is your perfect match. Beyond his exuberance, he knows how to appreciate moments of stillness and enjoys cuddling up with his favorite humans. His luscious black sable fur requires regular brushing to maintain its health and stunning appearance. Tennessee is well-versed in basic commands, walks gracefully on a leash, and has excellent recall and boundaries. While he's tolerant of other dogs, his lack of exposure during his formative years means he's still learning proper pack manners. He's not one to bark unnecessarily, reserving his vocalizations for when something seems amiss. Tennessee is kennel trained, although he's not shy about expressing his dissatisfaction with confinement. Nevertheless, he can be trusted to behave responsibly when left alone at home. Plus, he's up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and fully housebroken, making him the paw-fect addition to your family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 14, 2026, 2:11 pm

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Malakai is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, completely house broken, knows his basic commands, is crate & muzzle trained, and does not have any known medical issues or special dietary needs. The first thing you will notice is that he is the sweetest boy! He looks like a little old man because of his widows peak. Malakai makes fiends everywhere he goes & has never met a stranger he didn't love - even the vet & the mailman! He is used to having a yard that he can run around in, and he would do best with someone who is physically able to pick him up if needed. He was hit by a car & although he was not physically injured he has a lot of trauma around cars. He will not willingly get into one on his own, and he has a hard time going for walks if he sees cars or hears traffic as well. It would be easily remedied if he had someone physically capable of getting him out of the house and over the fear of traffic.

Story
Hank was found roaming the streets. He is a Shepherd/Husky mix. He has been with me for a year. He needs a home that will train him and care for him the way he deserves. He is very friendly. My partner passed away and I have been physically unable to care for this sweet boy. It is not fair to keep him in a kennel most of the day. I place him on a tether run for about 2 hours every day. He will wear a harness well. Please help me...I would hate to surrender him to the pound but will have to if I cannot find him a home.

Story
Sophie was adopted from our local humane society as a puppy in 2023 and has been with us since. Sophie is 3 years old and will turn 4 in April. Sophie is always eager to meet new people which causes her to get distracted from immediate commands. She loves to cuddle and to go on walks. She loves her toys and especially bones. She’s silly & quirky and loves life and baths not so much. Sophie is also potty trained, kettle trained and knows how to use a doggy door. Sophie was adopted to keep our other dog Lily (her sister pictured above) company while we are gone at work as she has an anxious attachment style. Adopting Sophie proved successful and it was a mutual benefit for both dogs at the time, but as our jobs have demanded more from us (working 10+ hours plus a 45 minute commute), we are no longer able to properly care for them as they deserve. Both dogs would need to be re-homed together as they are now a bonded pair.
