Story
Tennessee is the embodiment of your ideal furry companion. A striking blend of Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd, he's just 2 years old and bursting with energy. Tennessee thrives in a dynamic environment, making him the perfect fit for an active household. Despite his boundless energy, he possesses a gentle nature and remarkable intelligence. If you're seeking a trainable partner, Tennessee is your perfect match. Beyond his exuberance, he knows how to appreciate moments of stillness and enjoys cuddling up with his favorite humans. His luscious black sable fur requires regular brushing to maintain its health and stunning appearance. Tennessee is well-versed in basic commands, walks gracefully on a leash, and has excellent recall and boundaries. While he's tolerant of other dogs, his lack of exposure during his formative years means he's still learning proper pack manners. He's not one to bark unnecessarily, reserving his vocalizations for when something seems amiss. Tennessee is kennel trained, although he's not shy about expressing his dissatisfaction with confinement. Nevertheless, he can be trusted to behave responsibly when left alone at home. Plus, he's up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and fully housebroken, making him the paw-fect addition to your family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 12:11 am

Kingsville, TX
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Hera came to us from animal control where she was surrendered by her previous owner who could no longer care for her. Typical to her breed, Hera is extremely smart and athletic. She seems like she never got proper guidance growing up and will need someone experienced and ready to take the lead. Hera can be unsure and standoffish at first but once she is comfortable, she is a wonderful handful! Her spay will be completed before she moves into a new home.

Story
Ranger and his littermate, Ellie are both up for adoption. We found them by the side of the road when they were about 6 weeks old. They were nearly bald with mange, had fleas, and worms, and were most likely dumped. We took them to the vet and got them all fixed up and then later neutered and spayed. They are both about 6 months old now and do not get along with our larger Pyrenees mix, who is very aggressive toward them both. Both are fine with people and older kids 12+. Ranger is the best with other dogs. He just likes to play. Ellie is aggressive with other females and I would not recommend she be placed in a home with any other dogs except for Ranger. The two of them get along great. They roughhouse a little, but mostly lie around together. They both know basic commands like sit, stay, and wait. He would do best in a home where he can be your shadow.

Story
Hi, I'm Sadie! It's nice to meet you! If I look a little shy when we first meet, please don't worry! I'm really sweet, and once I've decided I like someone, I'm devoted to them for life. I go to Doggy Daycare twice a week, and those are my absolute faaaavorite days! I was scared at first--I was shivering and didn't want to leave my human's side--but after two days, I started running to greet my friends! I'm really curious about cats... they seem nice, but none of them ever want to play with me. I can be kind of silly; I'll do anything to make you laugh, especially if you're having a bad day. I can sense those things, you know? People say it's because I'm so smart... I don't know about all that, but I DO love learning. If you like playing or running or even just going on strolls, then I'm bound to be your best pal. I'll even give you big doggy hugs if you ask me to! In fact, cuddling is something I very much enjoy. I can't wait to tell you more about myself!
