Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Lola! Lola is a resilient and loving German Shepherd who’s ready to find her forever home. Born around June 1, 2023, and weighing 37 pounds, Lola’s journey has been a tough one. She was living on the streets with a homeless man and endured a battle with parvo for three days before being released to our rescue. Thanks to the care she received, Lola has made a full recovery and is thriving in her foster home. Lola is a playful and affectionate girl who enjoys the company of other dogs and loves her toys. However, she would prefer to be the only dog in her new home, where she can receive all the attention and love she craves. She is potty trained and walks beautifully on a leash, making her a well-behaved companion. Fully vetted, Lola has received a ProHeart 12 vaccine, providing heartworm prevention until June 26, 2025. Her adoption fee is $300. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving German Shepherd who’s ready to bring joy and companionship into your life, Lola might be the perfect match. Apply to adopt her today at www.adoggie4you.org and give Lola the loving forever home she deserves. Bring Lola into your family and enjoy a lifetime of loyalty and affection! This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Story
Welcome Ryker to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Husky/Shepherd mix. He weighs about 45 pounds and beautiful blue eyes. He knows sit, shake a paw and is good on a leash. He is smart and loyal companion. His loyalty will make him a little protective of his people. He is a wonderful dog and likes a number of different dogs here at the rescue. He was adopted and returned because he is protective when strangers came around. In our opinion, he is a perfect dog. In the right home, he will be perfect. A man who has had a shepherd would be best. Some person that is stronger and in control so the dog doesn’t have to be would be best. He would be great for a family that the husband travels out of town and he wants to leave a dog that will look after his family while he is away. He can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is great on a leash and will be a great dog for an outdoorsy person wanting a companion to tag along. Ryker has a beautiful bushy coat and would be perfect in the cooler climates in the North. He is vaccinated, neutered, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See his cute video!!

Story
Abby is a 7 month old feisty girl who is confident, outgoing, fun and full of joy, plus resilient! Abby was found on the side of a very busy road with a funny walk. The vet thinks she may have fell or was thrown from a vehicle. Even after the hurt she was ready to show love and gratefulness to the sweet family that picked her up. She went to the vet, and they said she had a small fracture that required crate rest for a bit and so she did just that. After lots of kennel rest Abby is ready for her next fun adventure and to make up for lost time. Abby is great with other dogs of all sizes. Her foster family has five other dogs that are mixed breeds and vary in size, and Abby is friends with all of them. She even does well with cats. Doesn’t even blink an eye around them. Shes started doggie daycare with her foster siblings and got great reviews from the daycare. She was shy at first but quickly warmed up to all of the dogs and staff. Since Abby was on crate rest when she was rescued she is learning potty training with her foster family and she is quickly understanding how to tell her foster mom she has to go outside. Food is Abby’s best friend and she loves getting a good girl treat after she goes potty outside. She loves celery, carrots, broccoli and lots of dog friendly fruits. Per Abby’s DNA test, she is Labrador retriever, German Shepherd, and Doberman. We’d be happy to share more of her DNA results with her perfect forever family. She is located in San Antonio, TX, but transport is included with her adoption fee. All out of state adoptions with transports gets a health certificate before leaving and all of pets are fully vetted to age, fixed, chipped and have rabies vaccine. If you are interested in Abby, please completed the adoption application!

Story
Hi! I am Sarge, my nick name is tank. They say that I'm solid. Think, it's because I love snacks and food. Makes me just the right amount of puppy "fluff"! I am a happy, outgoing fun pup that absolutely loves being with people and other dogs. My favorite pastime is playing in kids pool at my foster mom's house, but I can't right now because I just got neutered. Although I sit in the pool in hopes the water will appear in it. Would love to go on adventures like hikes, walks, and of course.... water adventures! I am house and crate trained. I do pretty good on leash for puppy. If you are interested in adopting me or learning more about me, you can complete the adoption application below. Don't forget to put my name! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NAF/Dog I am located in San Antonio, TX, but don't worry. We can do a video meet and greet! My out of state adoption includes transport with a health certificate from the vet before I go. My rescue works with trusted rescue transports that take amazing care of us rescue pups!
