Story
Bagel is a very loving, fun and sweet boy, about 3 years old. He was rescued from a fort worth animal shelter a couple years ago. Bagel will be very happy in a home that has another dog to play with, but will do very well on his own as long as he has someone to walk with and/or play with daily. He loves to go on walks or runs and loves the dog park. He will do very well in a home that has no kids or older children (middle school/high school). He is house trained and crate trained. His favorite snack is carrots!

Story
We adopted Kiba from Dallas Animal Shelter; he is a roughly 2yo shepherd collie mix, with lots of puppy energy. He is extremely smart, and loves to play with dogs his own size, (medium to larger breed, as he is about 50lb), and seems curious about cats but has not interacted with them too much (has wagged his tail and looked calmly). He loves peanut butter, or any type of treat, and instead of kissing he loves to give hugs. He likes sitting at home, or going out on a walk/hike, and gets along with everyone at doggy daycare. He is a fast learner while we have been teaching him (sit, leave it, stay), but he does struggle with separation anxiety (we think due to being from the shelter) as well as struggles on the leash. We think he would be the perfect dog for a single dog or multi dog home, especially if you love to go on adventures! He loves the car, and will come with his kennel, his toys, and the treats we got him while he was with us. He deserves the best home!!

Story
Whiskey is a lovable German Shepard mix. He has all needed shots and is neutered. He is approximately 8 years old. He loves to run, he loves to play and is very friendly. Whiskey can also be the protector. Unfortunately, my living situation has changed and I can not tend to him as needed. The home Whiskey goes should be a place where he can run and interact with other dogs so he can sniff their butts.

Story
Junior was brought in California from a family friend. I’ve had him since he was 3 months old. He is now 3 years old. He barks at everything for no reason. He loves to play with other dogs. He is not spayed. He has had one little of 8 in 2023. He was such a good dad. He is loosing a lot of weight because I cannot afford the food he like which is Blue Jack and my female German Shepherd does not let him eat, which I have to feed them separate but even then she will go and eat his food. He is house trained but has to be taken out or he will pee and poop in the house. I am looking for a family with a yard so he can run and play outside. He can be an outside dog but loves sleeping in the bed.

Story
Laia is a very sweet and energetic 4 month old puppy who was given to my mom by a family friend. My mom unfortunately does not have enough time to spend with Laia as she works all day so we thought it best to find her a new home. Laia is very smart and playful. She loves spending time outdoors and is very friendly, although a bit shy with strangers at first. She learns things very quickly and does exceptionally well with routines. Laia hardly barks and gets along well with other dogs. We have not noticed any behavioral issues so far except for the normal puppy teething for which she loves her chew toys.

Story
We fostered Betsy from the Humane Society of North Texas at the beginning of December. She is currently 5 months old and has been a wonderful puppy. Within the first 2 weeks she became potty trained. She is great with other dogs (big and small) and children. She is playful, sweet, and a cuddle bug. Right now we are working through eating her poop but she has been on a suplement to treat that. We are looking to find her fur-ever home due to our current living situation. We have a child with medical issues that requires us to travel a lot for treatment and we don't feel that is fair to Betsy for us to adopt her.

Story
Meet Demitri! Hi everyone, I’m Demitri! I am 2 years old and about 60 pounds. Everyone tells my foster mom I look like a shepherd mix. All I know is that everyone tells me I’m a handsome boy! When I was rescued from the shelter I had a skin issue that caused me to lose a lot of my hair. Most of my hair has grown back and I am feeling like a million bucks! I am very active and always have lots of energy. I love to play and go on walks with my foster mom and brother. I am very friendly with people and other dogs. I can be a little skeptical when it comes to trying new things but I am very smart and learn quickly! I will need someone to help me learn my manners. I am house broken and up to date on my shots, heart worm preventative, and flea/tick medicine. Can’t wait to meet you!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Farfalle! Very sweet, lower energy guy. Would do great in a home with another dog or by himself. He is very dog friendly but is also respectful of another dogs space. He would even do well in a home with a senior dog! He is a very sensitive soul and can be timid around new people. But, it doesn’t take him long to open up and want to be great friends!-crate trained-potty trained-non destructive- only chews on his dog toys-does not bark when doorbell rings-likes go for walks and play fetch-does not need a ton of activity each day, he’s perfectly ok to snuggle up with you-knows sit, down, door boundaries, how to heel on a leash. He does sometimes get excited when he sees dogs on walks and will pull a bit but he is working on ignoring dogs on walks.Due to his calm nature, he may also do well in a home with cats.If you’re looking for the perfect lower energy house gentleman, apply to meet him!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Meet Lobo! Lobo is a very sweet and ACTIVE 3 year old German Shepherd mix. He is a large boy and seems to think he is a lapdog.
