Story
Meet Myles Cash! He just turned a year old. He is fully vetted and neutered. He is independent and content just hanging out, but also sometimes loves to cuddle. He’s great with other dogs and kids, but thrives in alone time with his person. Loves going on adventures and exploring hiking trails. Loves being outside. He is an inside dog, but is very content sitting out on the patio and running his yard. He’s known to lay in the bed of the truck for hours just sun bathing. He’s not a super vocal dog, but lets you know when someone pulls into the drive way and will let you know when he’s ready to come inside. I wouldn’t say he’d be an outside dog, as much as he loves it he enjoys his couch too much. He is crated trained and usually sleeps in his crate at night. Very smart dog, he has been learning how to use those moving treat toys. Ears for dayssssss.

Story
We adopted Cairo from a local rescue to get a playmate for our older shepherd. We are unsure of his history, he nervous pees if he feels he's in trouble and doesn't do well with loud noises. He has THE SWEETEST personality, very cuddly and kind, but he needs more hands-on training and attention. He is house trained, for the most part, but if you leave him unattended and do not have a crate - he is likely to chew on items or mess in the house. He has all the potential to be a great, house-trained dog -- he just needs someone who is more present and able to train him to be that dog. It breaks our hearts to part with him, but we know he will thrive in a home where he is able to be given more attention around training.

Story
Hi my name is Bella! I am a loving 3 year old girl who enjoys playing fetch and spending time outside. I have lived with 2 other male dogs so I’m very good around all dogs. I can be a bit shy in the beginning but once I get to know you, I love cuddling and sitting right by your leg. I am a shedder but love getting brushed. I am potty trained and also know, sit, stay, come, leave it and paw/shake. I also love toys, I call them my babies and will grab one to bring to you when you get home because of how excited I am. I’m a super sweet girl that just needs a lot of 1 on 1 time and room to play outside.

Story
IDGSR Welcomes SHASTA into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Happy Holidays! My name is Shasta and I'm a 5-6yr old female German Shepherd. I am located near Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 5-6yr old Home - ideally a home with a fenced in yard, no apartment or condo Kids - Would do well with kids (12+) Dogs - Good with large males, no females or small dogs Cats - NO cats Training - Needs standard obedience training I want to share my back story with you so you get a better understanding of my personality. I was rescued from a hoarding case. I lived my life on a short chain, with no shelter, no adequate food or water. I was strictly used for breeding, had numerous litters of puppies, and wasn't treated with any love or care. When I was being rescued, my former owner hit me on the head with a cast iron skillet!! I have a bump on my head now but the vet tells me it will get better in time. 1. Despite my awful upbringing, I am a nice girl. I've never gotten to experience love, kindness, or even basic needs. The rescue has been wonderful for me to heal and now I'm ready to a forever loving home. 2. I would love to have a fenced in yard to explore in and a comfy bed to rest on. I don't require much because I've never had anything nice, if you can give me a good life, I will be forever grateful. 3. I would do best as either an only dog or with a confident male dog. I must be the only female dog in the home. It's also best that I avoid homes with small dogs and cats. 4. Now that I'm feeling much better, I love to jog in the backyard, check out what's going on, and have the occasional play time with one of the male foster dogs. 5. I've never spent a holiday with a loving person or family, I heard it's one of the most special times of the year. I hope you have a place in your heart & on your couch for a middle aged gal like me!
