"Opening up your life to a dog who needs a home is one of the most fulfilling things you can do." The family who gives Patrick a home will be so blessed with his company!

Patrick is so very handsome. His tricolor coat shimmers in shades of black, silver, and white. His happy personality and wise and merry brown eyes truly set him apart. Patrick is three years old and weighs 51 pounds. He is such a regal, magnificent presence!
Patrick is truly a joyful dog who lives in the moment and savors each and every day. He has a heart full of love he gratefully shares, and we love spending time with him!
Patrick quickly became a favorite among the staff and volunteers. He is so sweet and always ready to shower everyone with affection. His happy-go-lucky, good natured personality makes him a sought after companion.
Patrick’s favorite thing is being present for his human. Whenever someone stands still for long enough, he will sidle up and plop himself down, his warm body a comforting weight. It is his way of saying, “I’m here, and I love you.” And then there are his special kisses that leave no doubt about his affection. He even enjoys being a lap dog and is a favorite cuddle buddy!
Patrick loves to go on daily walks, trotting along with his tail wagging. He is so curious, attentive and eager to please. The fresh air and the thrill of the trail brings out the best in him, showcasing his intelligence and boundless energy. Patrick will be an awesome hiking and running buddy, too.
He also looks forward to outings in the fenced yard, where he bounds about in total joy and is so agile and athletic. Patrick enjoys playing with toys, too.
One of Patrick’s favorite pastimes is rolling on the grass. He will wriggle with delight, enjoying the cool earth and basking in the simple pleasure of it all. Patrick charms everyone with his playful spirit!
He has had the best time in play groups with his fellow shelter companions. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.
Patrick is an intelligent dog who wants to please and should master any commands you want to teach him.
Patrick is ready for a home where he will be a cherished companion and can share all the love he has in his wonderful heart!
