Recently a family member of mine passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind his 3-year-old dogs, Nero and Spyro. I work for a boarding facility and my boss graciously agreed to let me keep them at their location while I worked on finding them a new home. My family member was very wealthy and did all the right things with these dogs. They came from a champion breeder. I believe their mom was actually imported from Germany. They had all the training done. They obey German commands and know heel, sit, down, and stay. Nero and Spyro are high-energy dogs and will need room to run in their new home. They would do just fine being separated if only interested in one, as my family member was adamant about avoiding litter mate syndrome with them. I did not spend a lot of time with them besides holidays, so I am unsure about how they do with kids or small animals. Nero is the loveable goof of the pair. His beautiful eyes will melt your heart and his derpy personality will keep you smiling.

Kila came into our life’s when she was just 3 months old she was really shy at first but after days passed she became the most active dog ever. She is full of love when she sees you at the door. She loves belly rubs. She needs a home where she can get lots of physical activity, she loves to run around. She knows some basic commands and also sleeps in her cage with no issues. She loves cats but also bothers them. She is sweet and affectionate. Kila always enjoy car rides everywhere, especially sticking her head out of the car. Kila wants a home full with love and affection. Also patience because she can sometimes have high energy levels but she will always make your day better with her company!

Ohhh this boy is the BESTEST!!! Major was found, and had to be trapped, as a stray. He also had a collar on that was 4 sizes too small and it was embedded around his neck. This caused Major lots of pain and in need of medical treatment ASAP. The wound is being treated and looks amazing. He was just cleared by our vet. He is in need of some groceries, but is eating well at his temp foster. Major has an excellent disposition despite him being failed by humans. He has been excellent at the vets and has experienced leashed walks and crate training. Major is amazing with other dogs and loves to play. He's a low to medium energy guy and is house broken. He is a tiny bit shy but comes around in a few minutes. He gets better everyday. Major will be neutered before being adopted, he has an appointment in March. But could go to a foster to adopt home in the area. If you adores easy Shepherds, this is your boy.

Although I can be vocal when I play, I get along with almost any other dogs playing in both our rough/rowdy AND gentle/dainty play yards. What I am known most for here at the shelter are my smarts (even if sometimes I am too smart for me own good). I pick up on routines quickly, am very treat motivated, and sometimes try and see how much I can get away with with the staff here.
