Story
In 2022, I lost my wife and 2 of 3 of my German Shepherds in the span of 6 months. With the best of intentions, I tried to recreate my "old life" and adopted 2 GS puppies. My wife had been at home with our dogs and was available 24/7 for them. Unfortunately for them, I work 16 hour days and I am not available for them. They deserve better. Isis is a 2 year old female. She is sweet when she wants to be but can get a "little much" with her brother.. He will also be available in a separate listing in the near future. I can no longer live in the house I shared with my wife and will be moving to a smaller place without a yard. My situation between my job hours and relocation unfortunately requires me to find a new home for Isis.

Story
Hi, I’m Karma, and I’m looking for a new home where I can thrive! I’m an extremely well-trained, intelligent, and loving dog who enjoys being active and spending time with my person. My current owner rescued me two years ago from a tough situation where I was kept in a cage in a tiny apartment in the city. Since then, I’ve learned how great life can be, but I have unique needs that make living with other dogs a challenge. I have a high prey instinct and would do best in a home where I’m the only dog. I thrive on attention and would love someone who can spend lots of time with me or take me on adventures—car rides are my favorite! I also love to swim and chase deer's. But don't worry, I come back immediately when called. This decision is heartbreaking for my owner, but they want me to have a home where I can truly shine and not get in trouble for over correcting their other dogs. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and loving companion, I might just be the perfect fit for you!

Story
Hi there! I'm Nyx, a sweet 9-month-old girl who's still learning the ropes of puppy life. I'm a little shy at first, so it might take me some time to warm up to you, but once I do, I’ll be your loyal companion who won’t want to leave your side. I’m all about being close to my people and showing you how much I care. I’m also a ball of energy! Tennis balls are my absolute favorite—if you throw one, you’ll have my full attention and I’ll be ready to run and play. I’m still figuring out my puppy manners, so I might need a little patience while I learn, but I promise I’m worth it. I’d do best in a home without other pets where I can focus all my love and attention on you. If you're looking for a sweet, active, and loving pup who's ready to form a strong bond with you, I could be your perfect match! Story
Hi there! I’m Shyla, and I’m a sweet girl looking for my forever home. I’m a little shy at first and need a little extra time to warm up, but once I feel comfortable, I’m all about having fun and being active! I love to play, and I promise I’ve got a lot of energy to share once I trust you. The folks here are working on getting to know my preferences when it comes to other dogs and cats. I used to live with three other dogs, so I’m sure I’d do great with the right pals! They’re going to help me meet some new friends to see who I really click with. I’ll need a few meet-and-greets with you before I’m ready to call you my family, but once we bond, I’ll be your loyal and loving companion. Can’t wait to meet you and start our journey together! Story
Maya is the best emassador to the GSD breed! She is friendly and social and good in all situations. She is a very petite 46 lbs, and only 9 or 10 months old. Maya is good with kids, dogs, and cats (although we do not tend to put dogs with very young kids). She is smart and affectionate and eager to please. Breed experience is a must and we prefer a fenced yard, or folks with extensive training experience. She is awesome. A must meet for she is so much prettier in person and will steal your heart for sure. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   December 20, 2024, 11:13 am

Story
Brody is such a sweet, but timid dog. It takes him a moment to warm up to new folks and loud noises scare him. But he comes out of his shell and is everything you love about the GSD breed. Brody is a lean 65 lbs and maybe 2 at most. He acts goofy and young. He would do well with another dog or a cat, and a fenced yard for sure. With a bit more confidence and training, Brody could be more wonderful than he is right now. Needs a breed experienced home and folks who understand dogs and how to work with them. A must meet, for this awesome guy is just the best and so much more handsome in person. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility.
