Burns had been on her own for a while, but had some amazing guardians watching over her until she could be captured. Despite her rough start, Burns has been a total joy in her foster home! With her playful spirit and silly antics, Burns loves to frolic in the yard, rolling in the grass and enjoying every moment of sunshine. This lovely lady knows her name and responds well to basic commands like `come` and `down.` Whether it’s splashing in water or romping in the backyard, Burns brings enthusiasm to all her activities. She’s not bothered by rain, thunder, or lightning, although she can be a little nervous around loud noises and new situations. A playful companion dog might be the perfect match for her as she has gotten along with dogs of all sizes. Burns is house-trained and sleeps soundly in her crate every night. She’ll even run to her “bed” for a biscuit when it’s time! In the car, she’s a model passenger, quietly lounging in the back seat. During walks, Burns displays great manners around people and other dogs – she’s the perfect adventure buddy! Though Burns may initially come off as a bit shy and unsure, her trust grows quickly with gentle handling. With your love and patience, she’s bound to blossom into an even brighter, happier companion. Burns has a larger-than-life personality and is waiting to share her joy with the right family.
