Rufus is a German Shepherd mix who will turn two years old in August. Despite missing a paw, likely due to a birth defect, Rufus is a lively and affectionate dog. He enjoys cuddling at night and getting bursts of energy, often running around with playful zoomies. Rufus has a natural instinct to herd and is highly motivated by food, making him easy to train. Although he isn't fixed yet, his appointment is being scheduled soon. Rufus has received all his vaccines after seeing a vet, and he's fully house trained. He gets along well with both cats and dogs, and amusingly believes he is a lap dog despite his size.
