Story
I really need a family with another dog (or can be only dog), a securely fenced yard and someone that works from home. You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other I need an active German Shepherd family home. Patty is a 3 yr old 80 lb active German Shepherd mix (probably some Belgian Malnois) I will do best with an active alpha German Shepherd experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. Story
Hello! My name is Taylor!I`m a loving girl who can be timid meeting new people but since being at GHS I`ve come out of my shell beautifully and seem to be less timid with strangers. I am a petite little thing, not even 60 pounds! My new family should know that I work as a part-time digger and will help with any gardening needs you have or even snow removal. I like to dig holes for my toys and then cover them up by shoveling dirt over it with my nose. I may sometimes bark at dogs on leash if they are too close. But with a bit of space and some positive reinforcement with treats, I have made really nice progress so far! I am a snuggly and affectionate girl and at the end of the day I`m just looking for a loving home that will show me what a good girl I am.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers may be ok but no young children given my timid nature.OTHER DOGS: Potentially, I have lived with dogs before but I can be very selective and often don`t make a good first impression. If you have questions or would like more information about how I am with other dogs before applying, please email adoptions@guelphhumane.caCATS: Potentially, with a cat experienced with and comfortable living with dogs.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any with yard preferred. Rural would also be great!SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes.If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!

Hello! My name is Essen!I`ve been waiting for my family to come along since February 2025. My New Year wish is that my new family will adopt me before I reach 365 days at GHS! I`m a big sweetheart and always start my day with snuggles in bed with foster mom! I`m a very friendly girl and enjoy meeting new humans. I prefer humans over dogs and would be a great family dog for a home with older kids. I am so smart and have learned so many new skills because of my awesome foster mom. I`ve also recently discovered that I am an excellent cottage buddy and love to swim!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Yes, older and mature children!OTHER DOGS: Other dogs cause me stress, so I`m looking to be the only dog.CATS: Since I like to chase little critters, I shouldn`t live with kitties.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best in a home that has dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Highly recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Homes with yard preferred.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: I do well home alone!SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes!If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!

Story
Hiya, my name is Jersey!A bundle of joy wrapped in fur! I love to play, cuddle, and share my endless energy. I’m super friendly and love making new friends. Walks are my favorite, although I tend to get a bit jumpy with excitement! A family that can help me work on my leash skills in a positive way would be super-duper! I’m looking for a forever home where I can share all my love and playful spirit. Adopting me means endless fun and cuddles. Let’s make memories together!I am very excited to move into my new home and keep the ball rolling with my socialization. It is important that I join a family that has the time and patience to dedicate to my socialization and training, and who can handle my energy and excitement. To become a well-rounded, socialized adult, it`s important I have frequent and positive interactions with new people, children, other dogs, visits to the vet clinic and other unfamiliar environments (like friends` homes and pet stores). It`s also important I continue to get practice with handling and grooming so I continue to be comfortable when I am older and go for vet visits, get nail trims and receive brushing and grooming. If you are interested in adopting me, please click the `Adopt Me` button to complete an application.

Story
Laika Looking for someone who loves walks on the beach, adventure, and is gorgeous and loyal? If yes, swipe left to meet Laika. She is just an adorable 11 week old German Shepherd mix who is a treasure to have around. She currently weighs 15lbs but she will be a big girl at about 80 pounds when full grown. After a rough start in life in northern Manitoba, her challenges continued when she was diagnosed with parvovirus. She's a fighter though and survived after 2 days in ICU. Laika is happy, curious and full of energy. She enjoys playing with her foster brother and sister, her squeaky toys and taking long naps, snacks, loves ice cubes and the snow. She's a smarty pants, quick learner, good with new people and already figured out the sit and stay. She can sit and stay and will wait (for the most part) until the food is placed on the floor. She is great when it comes to sharing her toys and has shown no concerning behaviours when the other dogs are around while she’s eating. A home with an active family or a home with another dog would be great if possible. Laika is a high energy pup who is blossoming after surviving parvo. The foster parents have 2 dogs, and they have been excellent ambassadors to Laika. The foster parents do not have cats. She is crate trained and can be left in there for a few hours at a time. Her housetraining is a work in progress like most pups her age, but she does use pee pads reliably. For riding in the car, she needs a crate or seat belt due to her age as she tries to jump into your lap while driving. She is fed 3x’s per day puppy food December 24, 2025, 4:44 pm

Story
Billie / Male / 5 Months / Northern Mix / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Yes / Kids: Yes / Location: Stayner 📍 Meet Billie! 🐾 Billie is a super sweet pup from Attawapiskat with a whole lot of love to give. This adorable boy is affectionate and cuddly, with just a touch of shyness that makes him even more charming. Snuggles are his favorite! Billie loves being outside, playing fetch, tossing around his stuffies, and hanging out with the other dogs in his foster home. He’s very food-motivated (a true foodie at heart!) and a smart little guy. He’s the perfect mix of active and chill, calm, gentle, quiet, and good natured, with the occasional puppy zoomies to keep things fun. Billie enjoys being around people and other pets but is also wonderfully independent and happy entertaining himself. He’s doing amazing with crate training and chooses to use his crate on his own throughout the day. Billie is great with people, kids, dogs, and other puppies, and he did wonderfully with cats in his first foster home, even patiently watching them eat out of his bowl while he waited his turn for his own food. Car rides? No problem! Billie either naps on longer trips or calmly looks around on shorter ones. Billie is truly a special boy and is patiently waiting for his perfect forever home. 💙 Apply to adopt Billie! https://forms.gle/Q2r2kvpgMCFUtNaF8
