Story
Meet Mitchell – the boy with a heart of gold, ears that live their own life, and a weirdness you can only fully appreciate when you meet him! Mitchell has been in his foster home since the day he was born. He has always been a little different, and a very vocal boy – like all shepherds strive to be. Mitchell is 3 years old and 70 lbs of mostly German Shepherd and Great Pyrenees. He loves other dogs and his personality has really taken off with strangers too. He has a couple of best friend foster siblings that he enjoys playing with. Mitchell is house and kennel trained. He will need a home with a routine and patience as he works on leash training and that can help him keep learning. Mitchell has a pretty standard shepherd personality. If you have experience with shepherds, you fully understand. He wants to be worried about the world, while also being a social butterfly – an interesting combination for sure! Mitchell does get nervous with new things, but as his confidence continues to grow, we know that nervousness will get less and less. He hasn't been around kids but with his easy going demeanor we don't think he would have any issues in a home with kids that know how to respect their dog friends. He was born with bad hips and had surgeries to get him all fixed up. He’s still trying to learn that his hips are fixed, so he walks a little odd, but that just goes with his personality! Mitchell is a large dog, so he will benefit from some joint supplements as he ages. He may never be a super high energy guy, but more of a couch potato, hang out with his humans kind of guy. Mitchell wants to be a house dog, a true family companion, and would do best in a lower-key home. Staying active throughout his life will help him, but he won’t ever be a marathoner! You can send inquiries to our director of adoptions at muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com or apply to meet / adopt at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application! Mitchell is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.

**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Gypsy Moon Gypsy Moon is a nearly 4-year-old German Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a playful, goofy personality. At around 50 pounds, she’s a wonderful girl who’s ready to bring love and laughter into her forever home. Gypsy can be a little timid when first meeting new people, but with a bit of patience and kindness, she quickly warms up and shows her sweet, silly side. Once she feels safe, she absolutely shines—she loves attention and enjoys being her goofy, happy self. She gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys having canine friends to play with. Gypsy also loves spending time outdoors and especially looks forward to her walks—she does very well on a leash and is a joy to take out and about. Gypsy Moon is currently heartworm positive, but she is undergoing treatment and making great progress. She’ll be tested again soon, and we are hopeful for a negative result. Gypsy is looking for a patient and caring family who will give her the time she needs to settle in and the love she deserves. In return, she’ll give you endless loyalty, companionship, and plenty of smiles. Could Gypsy Moon be your perfect match? 💕 Interested in becoming a forever home for Gyspy? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Meet Eeyore   If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky, energetic girl who’s always ready to run and play, you’ve found her!   German Shepard   Cat friendly Absolutely adores kids AMAZING on a leash. Extremely well mannered in public. Eager to please+ has excelled in learning new skills   Eeyore was saved from the euthanasia list at OKCAW, and just two hours after arriving home, she surprised us with puppies. Now that her mama duties are complete, she’s finally getting her turn to find a forever home of her own. This girl is obsessed with attention. If she could sit and soak up pets 24/7, she absolutely would. She’s full of energy and would thrive in a home with a yard where she can run and burn it off. She would also LOVE a playful dog companion—but it’s not required, as long as her human is committed to helping her get that energy out. Despite everything she’s been through, Eeyore hasn’t let it dim her spirit one bit. She’s incredibly happy, and her constant tail wags and big smile prove it. She is absolutely amazing on a leash. In public, she is the most calm, well mannered dog you can imagine. She will heel right next to you and walk through a crowd just fine. This baby is very smart, and catches on to new things quickly. She is definitely eager to please, her main goal in life seems to be making her person happy. ——————— why is her hair so patchy? Eeyore suffered from an extreme case of demodex which caused her to lose all of her hair. But don’t worry, it’s growing back! ##2703980##

Story
Hi hi hiiii! My name is Sisa, and I’m a 7-month-old girl with a big heart, fast feet, and just a tiny case of the shys at first. Okay, so here’s the deal: when we first meet, I might act like a mysterious little noodle who isn’t quite sure about you yet. But if you give me a little time (and maybe a snack… just saying), I promise I am 100% worth the wait. Once I decide you’re my person, BOOM—you’ve got yourself a loyal best friend for life. I am what experts call the perfect combo of smart and silly. I learn things quickly, but I also believe life should include zoomies and plenty of loving. I’m super athletic and LOVE to run and play—especially if I have a doggy friend to chase around. Honestly, having another dog in the home would be my dream come true. Built-in bestie?? Yes please!! But don’t worry—I’m not all action all the time. I also have a soft, sweet side and I’m very happy to just hang out next to you and relax. (Bonus feature: I will happily supervise all your daily activities… including bathroom trips. Privacy? Never heard of it. You’re welcome. ) Oh! And I’ve been working really hard on my “good girl” skills. I walk nicely on a leash (look at me go!), I’ve been telling my foster mom when I need to go outside to potty (very proud of this one ), and I go into my crate easily like a champ. I’m looking for a kind, patient human who will help me come out of my shell and show me the world isn’t so scary. With a little love and encouragement, I know I’m going to blossom into the most amazing companion. So if you’re searching for a sweet, silly, slightly shy girl who will make you laugh, keep you company, and love you with her whole heart… I’m right here, waiting for you. Love,Sisa ##2613186##
