Duke is a good boy! And quite a stunner too! Duke has come a far way since he came into our care, but is still learning! Duke needs a bit of space and guidance to explore things around him productively! We would love to see Duke go to a GSD savvy home, without small children (due to his size). He likes other dogs, but is still working on learning his social skills! Duke is an active boy, but settles down well. He loves his walks and following other dogs around. Meet Jack Frost, He was found wandering around in the cold at the nature preserve on Richman Rd Lodi. He is a 7 year old male German Shepherd . He is microchipped but the chip has never been registered. If you know Jack and where he belongs please call our office at 330-725-9121 If he is not claimed by his owner he will be available for adoption on 12-9-25 Jack is a very happy go lucky kind of fella. He is very laid back and just wants a human buddy to love and keep company. If you think Jack could be your new best friend please come in and meet him. He is waiting patiently for you!! The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.

What a fun combo for a dog! He gets super excited when he sees me getting my tennis shoes on, or my ball cap because he knows it means we're going hiking. He's 100 pounds of lean handsomeness. LOL. He does well as a couch potato and is calm in the house on a normal quiet day. He is house trained, crate trained and does well with other non dominant dogs. He loves playing fetch with any ball, and if you don't have time to play, Buck plays by himself. I'm looking for a home without young children because Buck does have herding/guarding tendencies. Buck is looking for someone who loves the big boys, and can handle them. Bucks adoption fee is $200, and includes all up to date vaccines, neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm preventative, and endless love and appreciation from BUCK!
