Story
KitKat is as sweet and lovable as they come. He has done well with other dogs and children. He seems to be frightened of cats. This is especially funny for someone nicknamed Kitty. KitKat has a made a long journey from out of state where he was on the euthanasia list due to being heartworm positive. Don't let this deter you! KitKat has started his treatment, is scheduled for his first shot and the rescue will pay for his heartworm treatment. KitKat is looking for a forever family that will help him during his recovery and love him forever. He is neutered, up to date on shots. The only missing piece is a loving family. Could it be you?

Story
The perfect boy is at our rescue, and his name is Bernie. Bernie is guessed to be around 2 years old. Rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas, Bernie shows us everyday how appreciative he is to be safe.Bernie is mild mannered and would prefer to walk alongside you, although he will show you his random bouts of zoomies. He is the most gentle dog in every way. From giving you kisses to accepting a treat from your hands, everything Bernie does is with kindness.Bernie is a quiet guy, so keep your eyes on him, it's easy to lose him as he is non-reactive to people and other dogs. Bernie is most vocal when he's letting us know how much fun he is having while playing the fenceline with his rescue buddies.Bernie is house trained, kennel trained, does well on a leash and knows his basic commands.Bernie would make the perfect addition to any loving and safe home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Sahvi. I am on the small side for a German Shepherd. I am very, very affectionate and get along with everyone I have met. My foster mom thinks I've never lived indoors before, but I am already housebroken and quickly learning the rules. I am a quiet girl, my foster mom has never even heard me bark! I am crate trained. I love to run and chase squirrels, so a fenced yard is a must for me to have. My life has been difficult. I was picked up as a stray and spent a month and a half at the pound before I came into Roses Rescue. They  found out I was heartworm positive, so after the treatment, I had to spend 6 weeks in a crate while the worms in my heart died. The vet says there should be no lasting issues. Now I am free and love to play with my foster siblings, especially my Frenchie brother who really keeps me on my toes! We love to romp and play together in the backyard! After all that I am fine now and ready to move on to my forever home with a family of my own.  If you know someone who loves shepherds, but thinks they're too big, I might be the perfect fit! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.GREAT FAMILY DOG! 90 LB HUNK OF LOVE!!  Hi,my name is Diesel! I am a three year old goofy, happy boy!I love kids of all ages, cats, and dogs and of course any person I meet! Unfortunately my mom had to move to a place that did not allow big boys like me and my dad works a lot, so i have to stay by myself a lot but don't worry i get my food twice a day and a nice neighbor lady lets me outside to play in my fenced in back yard. I am told i am a good boy because the times i am alone i don't tear anything up or get into anything. I just patiently wait until people come again. Did i mention i love people? I would love to have a family that i could spend every day with!  If interested, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here:  adoption application For anyone viewing this on Petfinder, if you are interested in adopting this animal you will need to go to our website www.rosesrescue.net to fill out the online adoption application.
