Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

Kali is 6 years old and was adopted in March of 2019 from a private breeder. She prefers to be indoors unless she is outside playing fetch or going on a car ride. Through an "Embark" test we know Kali is 93.7% German Shepherd and 6.3% "unresolved". She is protective and weary of strangers. Because of this she can come across as somewhat aggressive towards anyone she doesn't know. She is very smart and sweet, however, she needs an owner or owners who have time to groom, play, cuddle, and truly appreciate her.

This energetic guy would love to help you train for your next marathon! Smokey is a beautiful shepherd mix who has entered our prison training program. His trainer describes him as "very friendly with everyone he meets". He has lots of energy and loves to play. When he gets excited he will jump up so we recommend he not be placed with small children. However, he just started his training and we are quite confident he will learn what is acceptable. He gets along with other dogs. He can be a bit vocal in his crate from time to time but that's because he wants to be with his people. With his affectionate and energetic personality, he would make an active family, a perfect match. He is housebroken, loves baths and plays well with other dogs.
