Thor is a great dog, he could use some more training, but he is able to sit, lay down, give paw and speak. His attention span is not the greatest and he has lots of energy. He is very loving! He is crate trained. He does not get along with other male dogs but is typically okay with females.

Ace is 5 years old. His birthday is September 4th 2020. I got Ace from a breeder in the Blanchester area who loves her pups. Ace is very smart, listens well, and has been very well trained. Ace loves to go for walks and is obsessed with his tennis ball. Ace does have a very sensitive stomach and his food of choice is Blue Buffalo. Table food is not for Ace. Ace is very loving to all adults and will brighten any day. Unfortunately Ace does not do well with little kids (under 8) I would say. He gets very nervous around them. Other dogs would take a lot of time to get used to as he is very territorial. He does have anxiety and is on medication to help with his small challenges. Ace does not do crates well and has been free to roam since a young age. We do close all bedroom, bathroom doors while we are away. We have 2 kids under 3 and he has not adjusted to them like we thought he would and with another baby in the future we've come to the tough decision to try and rehome our furry buddy.

K-Ci is a beautiful, long-haired Shepherd mix who desperately wants a break from shelter life. He came to us as a transfer from an overcrowded shelter down in Tennessee, and now he waits here in Cincinnati for his next journey. K-Ci is an intelligent, active, loving boy who thoroughly enjoys long walks and exploring nature. He can be a bit uncertain in new situations- but with a little patience and love, he blossoms out of his shell and settles in. K-Ci gets deeply attached to his friends, loving hard and always wanting to be around his people. K-Ci has been on multiple short-term foster trips through our Paw Pass program, and always has a blast! He does great during car rides, is becoming more and more eager to meet strangers when out and about, and can sleep soundly at the shelter after getting so much enrichment and stimulation. He`s a smart cookie, already knowing basic commands like `sit`, `down`, and `no.` In a foster home, he also proved to be housebroken and crate-trained! His Shepherd brain is always looking for new things to learn and new ways to bond with his people by making them happy. K-Ci does well in playgroups at the shelter with other dogs! He is a high-energy, intense player who loves it when other dogs can match his speed. If you have canine friends at home, it`d be a good idea to bring them to the shelter to see if they would be a good fit to be K-Ci`s new family! K-Ci has limited experience with human children and has never been around cats before.
