Story
Miss Marley was born 12-07-23. She was from a litter brought to the shelter. She is smart and affectionate. She loves walks in the woods, playing frisbee and tug and riding in the car. She knows many commands and sits well to have her leash put on. She responds well to treats for training..she knows the word. Everybody loves her. She is always happy to see visitors. She is totally housebroken and respects the baby gates we have up. She doesn't chew shoes or furniture. She knows which things are hers. She had some occasional food aggression but have worked that out. We have cats and it is a struggle with them. One of them plays with her but is has to be supervised. She has had minimal interaction with other dogs...we live in the country. I have goats and chickens and was hoping the Great Pyrenees in her would come out but, alas it is the Shepard personality that dominates. She chases the chickens. She is lovely and if I was 20 years younger without goats and chickens I would keep her.

Story
Say hello to the doe-eyed pup named Honey! Honey is a precious little bean of a dog! This pretty girl was brought to HSEC for a second chance at a future home! Abandoned and failed by the humans before us, Honey`s unbreakable spirit persevered as she won us over with her charm and adorable eyes! This pretty girl loves to play with other dogs, hand out in nature, and indulge in treats occasionally. Docile, sweet, and independent are the first three words to come to mind when we think of Honey! Don`t be fooled, though; this gal has a spunky side that loves to run and jump around while playing with her favorite stuffed toy! Honey loves to get a little saucy and play her favorite game, `on the couch, off the couch`! Of course, if you are interested in adding Honey to your furry family, we do require a meet and greet before adopting! Honey cannot wait to find her furever home, and we cannot wait for you to meet her! Interested in adopting this pretty gal? No problem! Head over to hsecarolina.org to apply today!
