"Snuggle" is the command that stops him in his tracks for a good ole' rub time. It would be wonderful for Ta'Keo to have a home that he can receive lots of love and attention. He is loyal, protective and a wonderful companion.

He is named after Matthias Jabs, the lead guitarist for the German band the Scorpions. And just like his namesake our Matthias is sure to be a rock star! Matthias is a great dog! He needs a 6ft fence. Good with most other dogs but likes to play and can be overwhelming for all but the highest energy dogs. He would be fine as an only dog with a very active family. He is good on a leash. His ideal family would have dog experience and be willing to work with him on exercise and daily training.   ~Adoption donation $250. All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and neutered. Hi, I’m Luna, a 2-year-old German Sheperd in Lexington, NC, looking for my forever home. I’m a high-energy, working-breed girl who needs an active, experienced person or family who understands GSDs. I love structure, exercise, and spending time with my people. I’d do best as the only dog, as I’m very loyal and protective of my family. I’ve never shown aggression toward anyone. I just form strong bonds and take my job seriously. I’m sweet, affectionate, and full of personality, but I can struggle with excitement and anxiety. Loud noises (sirens) make me nervous, so I’d thrive in a calmer, more predictable home with someone patient and understanding. I’ve had professional training to help me learn calm behaviors and do best with consistency and routine. I’m spayed, UTD on my rabies vaccine, AKC registered, and microchipped, with paperwork available. My family loves me very much and wants what’s best for me. They’re hoping to find someone who will love me and help me live my best life.
