We found Athena on the side of a busy road malnourished, weak, and most likely dumped after having puppies. She is the sweetest girl with just the right amount of energy to keep you busy and will still want to curl up and get love after her zoomies. The reason we can not keep her is due to her not getting along with our cats that we had prior to picking her up off the side of the road and us not being able to give her the time and attention she deserves. My family and I rescued Stella in mid-November after she was found on road after being hit by a car. Since then, she underwent a surgical procedure to repair her dislocated hip. I am happy to report that the procedure was successful and she has been rehabbing successfully ever since. Now that she is in good health, we are looking for a forever home for this sweet girl. Stella is a very sweet 1-2 year old German Shepherd mix and she loves to play fetch. She is extremely loyal and loves to play with our 5- year old granddaughter. She is completely potty trained and she knows basic commands. She has also received all vaccines/boosters and was microchipped.
