You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › This poor baby was found abandoned! Now he is happy and healthy and doing all the things puppies are meant to do -- playing, sleeping, eating, trying to escape his puppy pen, and getting a ton of snuggles.  He will be a larger dog. Bailey is goofy & energetic, loves attention-- and the husky in him lets you know when he wants it! due to being abandoned, he is still a little scared if picked up suddenly, and unsure about other pets so far. He loves to be held though, and can't get enough of his toys! You can apply to adopt me here: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 19, 2024, 11:55 am

Story
Turtle is such a good boy, he’s loving and sweet. He’s so gentle despite his size. He loves meeting new people and going places. He’s completely potty trained and will listen to what you say. Super food motivated. Does not like to be confined but does well on his own if left loose in the home. He is not crate trained and gets anxiety if confined. He is great with cats, has limited experience with children but hasn’t had any problems so far. He doesn’t know he’s big so he does jump on people. He will follow you around and is just a great companion. Does get car sick so may need something to contain any mess while being transported. He is an indoor dog, does not like to spend much time outdoors alone, he’s fine if you’re with him though. He loved to play, anything that squeaks and rope toys. He’s also perfectly content just hanging out and sleeping all day. He’s happy to play or happy to nap.

Here is how her foster parents rank her pup skills:Playfulness - 8/10Energy - 9/10Goofiness - 6/10Snuggle buddy - 15/10Toy lover - 10/10Cat lover - 7/10 (she wants to play with them so bad!)Dog lover - 8/10 (slow introductions) Small humans - 9/10 (very patient) Being her humans’ shadow - 10/10She is ready to find her forever family and share all her love and joy!If you are interested in this animal please start by filling out an adoption application at http://www.CFP-NC.org/adoptions and we will get in touch with you.

Story
Kali is the sweetest girl ever. She absolutely loves people and has so much energy. A friend was wanting to surrender her and I took her in because I did not want her to go to a kill shelter. Unfortunately since then she has become aggressive towards my dog and dogs in the dog park, including small dogs. I worry for her safety and the other dogs safety. She truly would thrive in a home where she would be the only dog. She is such a good girl. House trained, crate trained, and knows several tricks! She will come with a leash, harness, the crate I was given when I took her in, and a brand new bag of food. I would just love for her to go to a good home.

Story
Hello, potential forever family! My name is Pilgrim, but my foster mama calls me Grim. She says it suits me because I’m a strong Shepherd boy, but honestly, there’s nothing "grim" about me—I’m all heart! Call me whatever you like, as long as you’re ready to shower me with love and attention. That’s the way straight to my heart. Here’s a little about me: I’m a 1-year-old Shepherd mix, weighing in at 50 lbs. I’m the perfect size—no more growing, but I may fill out a bit more as I settle in with regular meals and care.I was rescued from a local shelter, and after a short stay there, my foster mama decided to bring me into her home to be a buddy for her playful Shepherd pup. She says I’m the “perfect boy”—I’m social, love to play with other dogs, but also know how to wind down and enjoy a good nap after a fun session. When my foster brother gets a little too rowdy, I’ll correct him, but I’m always gentle and don’t go overboard. We get along great! Now, about those cats... Foster mama has a few, and while I’m definitely curious about them, I’ve learned to respect their space. If I get too nosy or playful, they let me know, and I back off. I’m learning the ropes!I’m also living with kids, ages 7-12, and they are such a blast! I love snuggling with them and joining in their playtime. Nothing makes me happier than a good game or a belly rub from the kiddos—I can’t help but smile the biggest puppy grin. One thing’s for sure, though: my forever home must have either another playful dog or some active kids to keep me busy. I’ve got plenty of energy (typical Shepherd!), and I need a good outlet to keep me happy and out of trouble. As for house manners, I’m doing great! Since coming to my foster home, I haven’t had a single accident. I go outside regularly and have plenty of chances to do my business. I’m also crate trained—at night, I sleep in my crate without any fuss. I might bark if I’m feeling impatient, like if I’m waiting too long to go out in the morning, but I settle down quickly. My foster mom says I’m a dream on a leash. I don’t pull much and usually walk so closely to you that I might accidentally end up under your feet—whoops! If you’re looking for a fun, playful boy who knows when to relax and cuddle, then I’m your guy! Don’t wait—submit an application today, and let’s make some memories together!***Please Note: All the available dogs listed on our website are getting spoiled in private foster homes. If someone has caught your eye and you wish to arrange a meet and greet, we do need you to fill out the adoption application. When your adoption application is received our screening team will verify the information given. Once your application has been confirmed and approved, we will be send it over to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a good match for the dog. In the event one lucky dog receives multiple applications, please know we do not select based on a first come basis. We try our best to select the best-fit for our animals and families. ***
