Story
Meet Matthias. He's a German Shepherd mix who weighs about about 92 pounds. His vet estimated year of birth is 2019. He is named after Matthias Jabs, the lead guitarist for the German band the Scorpions. And just like his namesake our Matthias is sure to be a rock star! Matthias is a great dog! He needs a 6ft fence. Good with most other dogs but likes to play and can be overwhelming for all but the highest energy dogs. He would be fine as an only dog with a very active family. He is good on a leash. His ideal family would have dog experience and be willing to work with him on exercise and daily training.   ~Adoption donation $250. All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and neutered. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Visit www.ruffloverescue.com/adoption to make this pup a member of your family. November 5, 2024, 5:56 pm

Story
Copy and paste to view YouTube video: https://youtu.be/pzVaIBRF5a8?si=eO9bkUyYexhx6lZ1 Freebird was the dog that had been dumped near a busy interstate.  One of our Ruff Love volunteers heard about it, and worked to rescue the dog.  The dog was afraid and wouldn't come to people, so Stacy set a trap.  The dog became accustomed to her being nearby, and after 6 days of patience and love, Stacy was able to get this pup.  She named him FREEBIRD. Freebird has received vet care, good food, patience and love, and now he is ready for his forever home.  He's a German Shepherd mix.  The vet estimated date of birth is 11/22/2022.  He weighs 56 pounds.  He's goo with other dogs.  He's getting used to cats; he is curious about them, but not aggressive. ~Adoption donation $300 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and neutered. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Visit www.ruffloverescue.com/adoption and fill out an application to make this pup a member of your family November 5, 2024, 5:56 pm
