Story
(DOB 08/01/2023) Berkley, the handsome heartt hrob of the dog world! This GSD mix is growing up into a total stunner—his shiny, silky coat and those perky ears are just the beginning! Not to mention, his smile is enough to melt anyone’s heart. Berkley is an active young guy who’s all about daily walks, playtime, and fun adventures with his family. Whether it’s running around the yard, hiking through the trails, or playing fetch, he’s ready to make every day an adventure. This sweet boy is just looking for the right family to take him home and give him all the love he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion to share your active lifestyle and your heart with, Berkley is your guy! ! He’s a little on the submissive side, which just means he’s extra eager to please and will melt your heart with his gentle nature. Berkley is the ultimate toy sharer, and he LOVES playtime—whether it’s chasing tennis balls, showing off his best victory strut with one proudly in his mouth, or sharing a good game of tug-of-war. While a fenced yard would be a dream come true for him to run around and burn off some energy, it's not a deal-breaker. Berkley just loves to move, and he’s perfectly content with daily walks, where he can stretch his legs, explore the world, and meet new friends (human and dog alike).  He’s a big boy, with big ears, with an even bigger heart, and who just LOVES being with his people. Whether you’re chilling on the couch, playing in the yard, or out on a fun adventure, Berkley is your ride-or-die sidekick! Berkley would do best in a home with older children who can keep up with his playful spirit. His foster 2-legged brother has already taught him some basic commands . Berkley is also house and crate trained, which means he’s already got some solid house manners in place.   If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will bring joy and energy to your daily life, Berkley is ready to be your new best friend. Come meet this charming guy—he’s ready to run, play, and make every day an adventure with you! As part of Berkley’s $325 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.  If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email  Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Berkely, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##1887422##

Her enthusiasm for outdoor activities is unmatched, making her the perfect companion for an active family with kids aged 8 and above.Agatha thrives in the company of other dogs, especially those weighing 25 pounds and up. Outdoors, she expresses herself vocally, yet indoors, she transforms into an incredibly quiet and well-behaved companion. At least a year old now, Agatha has mastered the art of a peaceful night's sleep in her dedicated room. Her adaptability is evident as she navigates ramps effortlessly, and a few stairs pose no challenge. Agatha eagerly welcomes belly rubs and craves attention, making her a delightful addition to any family. Puzzle toys keep her engaged, and she excels at outdoor bathroom breaks. For any accidents indoors, cloth pads prove to be an effective solution.Agatha's love extends to rides in the vehicle, where she handles the experience with ease. With her joyful spirit and adaptable nature, Agatha is more than a pet; she's a pure joy to have as part of the family. ##1747122##

Story
Breed & Age: German Shepherd Mix, 1 year old Personality: Sweet, Silly & Goofy Likes & Dislikes: Likes - Playing, chew toys, cuddling. Hasn’t found anything to dislike yet!   Say “what’s up” to Willie Jack! This adorable pup is a bundle of joy who’s as sweet as he is silly! Willie Jack is always ready for some fun, whether it’s chasing toys, running around the yard, or curling up for a cozy nap once all the fun is done. Willie Jack is a lovable pup who knows his basic commands, is house and crate-trained, and is the perfect buddy to take on car rides for exciting adventures. He’s been living in a foster home with other dogs and is a big fan of his doggy buddies. He’d do well in a home with other dogs but could also be a solo co-pilot for all of your adventures. Though he’s still perfecting his leash skills, his eagerness to please makes him a quick learner, and he is VERY food-motivated (which makes training a breeze). Willie Jack is on the lookout for a family who’s ready to keep up with his playful spirit, let him be a part of all the fun and outings, spend lots of time with him, and help him continue his training so he can be the best boy. If you’re ready for a loyal, fun-loving furry friend who’ll make every day an adventure, Willie Jack is waiting to be your new best buddy!  ##1832974##

Story
He was posted on Facebook and my ex’s family got him. He super sweet and loving with his main caretaker. He loves to be right underneath you. But recently he hasn’t been around people and have began growling and barking. I can’t afford the training that is needed to help him. I also started a new job recently and I’m gone a lot and I don’t feel it’s fair to him. He has never growled or barked at me. I’m hoping a loving person will adopt him so he can live a better life.

Story
Chase is 3yo German shepherd mix. He is playful and full of energy. Gets along with other dogs but can sometimes irritate them with his playful energy. Unable to keep him as we have started to keep him outside more since my son has started to walk. Due to this he has been escaping and we are worried he may end up getting into some trouble.
