Story
Ellis is a very gentle girl. She is a snagle tooth, snuggler who just wants love. She is skiddish, so if you move to quick around her she will bark. Ellis is unsure of hardwood - she is slowly learning the ways but will need carpet for her to walk. Great on leashes! She is great around dogs and older children. Younger children can be rowdy and cause her to be timid. I'm pregnant with my second child and currently have two other dogs. Unfortunately, I'm unable to tend to three dogs and soon two kids with my husband being gone majority of the time. She would be a wonderful companion in your life.

Story
Please contact foster at bchris716@bellsouth.netHurley is the bestest boy. He gets along well with our two large, neutered male dogs. One is 11, and the other is 4. Hurley plays with the younger dog, but is also calm with the older fellow. His hobbies include giving kisses, carrying around tennis balls and chew toys, hanging around his people and dog brothers, eating treats, and rolling in the grass. He is currently slightly underweight, but is eating three meals a day to rectify that. Fast facts about Hurley:-Housetrained with frequent potty breaks in our fenced in yard. He has had one accident here, but nothing since the first day. -Crate trained. He will go in his crate (sometimes begrudgingly), and will settle quickly. He has not had accidents in his crate while here and is crated 8 hours overnight. -Knows sit, and we’re working on wait.-He goes to his dog bed when told for the most part and will settle. We suspect he has had some training at some point. -Plays appropriately with our dogs, and takes correction well if he gets too rambunctious.-Has not shown signs of any resource guarding with our dogs or people. -Hurley does well taking cues from resident dogs, and has responded appropriately when they communicate with him.-Tolerated his bath and nail clipping-Does not get on furniture or counter surf.-Has not been destructive here, and does not pick things up that are not dog toys.-Is an excellent car rider.-Has not been exposed to small children, but does well with our teenager. -Hurley pulls on his leash and definitely needs some work in this area. -Hurley fixates on our cats, and should be in a home without them.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Please contact foster at imkendalldean@gmail.comHe is a ladies man! He likes just about anyone he’s come across but the ladies especially. He does well outside of the kennel when I am home, I have not felt comfortable enough to do so while I am at work just yet but he has shown no signs of destruction so far. He knows a few tricks (sit, down, paw/shake, kennel, let go) and loves to play tug of war and fetch. He tugs on the leash quite a bit until after he’s gone to the bathroom then he is an angel. Rupert does really well in the home with my female dog but when I’ve taken him on walks he is very reactive to other dogs. I wouldn’t say he needs to be an only dog, but I would avoid male dogs unless they are familiar with handling a reactive dog. Otherwise I think he would do fine with a more submissive docile female. He hasn’t attacked my cat but has trotted after him curiously, my cat isn’t too fond of him just yet. But I haven’t seen any aggression from him towards the cat this far. He is just a big goofball with his tongue hanging out to the side 9/10 time. I think he would make an amazing family dog. More notes about Rupert:-Easy on the leash -Enjoys exploring trails + walking -Loves to run around + play fetch-Takes treats gently -Likes being pet, especially head scratches-Knows sit -Treat motivated so should be easier to train -Beautiful thick coat + ears -Happy, sweet boy

Please contact foster at michelleanncoomes@gmail.comToday, this super cute guy was SO MUCH FUN!  Blue was easy to leash and walk (a little strong so harness recommended); he “sits”, was treat motivated and took them gently (see video); playful but not mouthy; easy to redirect when he jumped in excitement; fun energy level; may be a holder!
