Story
We're looking to rehome our beautiful German Shephard, female pre breed 6 years old. We have twin boys, 5 years old, and they take up an enormous amount of out time. We both work full time, with me traveling a lot for work. Our dog is great but we just don't have the time to give her the attention she needs. We're looking for someone who has land for her to run and someone who has land for her to run and someone who will take her for walks, throw ball for fetch, and play Frisby with. She loves catching the Frisby. She loves people because we socialized her as a puppy. She plays great with kids but probably wont be good with cats. I've taken her to dog parks and she doesn't seem to really care about the other dogs. She just wants to play fetch. If you think you could give this girl the attention she needs please let us know. We love her and and want the best for her.

Story
Meet Loco! Loco is approximately 2 years old and weighs about 60 pounds! He loves his play yard time and playing with his toys. Loco usually does well with dogs, but he can be a bit picky with the ones that he likes so we do recommend a dog-to-dog meet and greet here at the facility before going home with another dog. Loco is up to date on vaccines and is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, neutered, and ready for his forever home! If you are interested in meeting with Loco to adopt or to foster, please call us at (828)980-0016 or email us at rutherfordanimalcontrol@heartofthefoothills.org
