Story
Vidalia is a spunky girl who is all about her person. She wants someone to show love to consistently who will reward her back just by giving her all time favorite thing: Attention!Vidalia came in as a girl with no hair who was very shy. She has no front teeth, mostly likely from chewing on bones, and due to this we thought she was older than she really is- which is estimated to be 4-6 years! She has grown all of her hair back with nothing but a bath for yeast on her skin and a balanced diet! She very quickly warmed up to the staff at the shelter, and we quickly realized how smart she was. She knows basic commands: sit, stay, law, shake, heel-showing us that she has had intense training in the past. She learns and understands new things quickly. She is good with young kids, other dogs with slow introductions, and good in public. She wants all eyes on her, and will gladly show off her beautiful even prance and how well she walks on a leash-right by your side. Vidalia is all dolled up and ready for her forever home today!

Story
Meet Joe, who originally came to us from the Rowan County Animal Shelter. Joe is a 1–2-year-old, 52 lb., German Shepherd. He has had all of shots is neutered and is microchipped. He came to us as rescue only due to fear issues. He is not aggressive in any way, nor does he shake / tremble. He is just nervous. Joe was adopted from us several months ago, but unfortunately, he stayed out in the yard because the adopters said they couldn't catch him, so they just left him out. The adopters returned him back to us on 12/30/23. Joe gets along well with all sized dogs and is social. While in foster care before he got adopted, he had started wagging his tail and socializing but now with the previous adopters not really working with him he's back to being shut down again. He will need time to adjust and get comfortable with his new home and does require a 6 ft. fence and having another dog (for companionship) in the family. If you are interested in adopting this beautiful boy, please send us your email address to obtain an Adoption Application.

Story
Meet Millie May! Quick Facts: Breed: German Shepherd mix Estimated Birthday: 12/11/2022 Size: roughly 80lbs --===================================== Meet Millie May, the girl who has it all - funny, friendly, athletic, curious, and smart! (They do say that variety is the spice of life.) Millie May is a happy, healthy adult dog who loves to play, explore, and make new friends. Whether it's playing with toys or finding the best spot for a tummy rub, Millie May is always game. She is the ultimate boating buddy and could spend HOURS out on the boat. She loves water and would make the perfect lake dog. If you're looking for a fun-loving, curious, and cuddly companion, look no further - Millie May is the girl for you! Here's to many happy adventures together! Millie May loves a good car ride, chewing on bones & has recently discovered the art of swimming. She is a goofy girl, but maintains her sweet nature while proving how incredibly smart she is through training! She is very food motivated & we encourage her adoptive family to utilize this to invest in obedience training. She does know "sit", "down" & is working on "stay". She can be protective of her favorite bone with other dogs in the home, but is easily redirected with another bone or toy she likes. Millie May has done well with the cat in the home and doesn't pay him any attention. She has not resided with a child, but is a still a big puppy at heart with lots of energy to burn. She sometimes knocks things over & sometimes her feet forget how to feet, and that may include bulldozing children who are less on the durable side. Millie May is crate trained and mostly house trained, she has occasional accidents.
