Hello, my dog's name is Brownie. She is a 4 year old German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix. Brownie is a sweet girl. But, she can be nervous and overprotective. Brownie has a heart murmur. I already consulted with a cardiologist and had the ultrasounds done. She cannot get surgery, just daily medication to keep her heart healthy. It's only $16 a month. Brownie can be taken to doggy day care and doesn't mind the other dogs. But on walks, she can get protective when another big breed is walking by. Though, she doesn't care much for smaller breeds. We have 2 other dogs. Brownie is really smart, loyal and loving. It hurts my heart to give her up, but she deserves to be with someone that can give her the time she needs as she is a very active dog. Thank you for your time.

We found Rocky when she was about two weeks old and she is now about 12 months. The photo provided is the only one we have but she has grown a lot since that was captured. Our family is very busy and we do not have the time to care for her, train her and give her the proper attention she deserves. She's a big girl, very playful and extremely energetic. Ideally, the perfect home for her would be someone that has experience with larger breeds and has the time to train her, she is extremely active.

Sugar is a 5 year old female pure bred German Shepherd whose owner died a few months back. Her family wasnt able to keep her due to landlord rules at their apartment but with the help of some shelter volunteers they got Sugar into a rescue in Washington. Unfortunately, that rescue dumped Sugar and has not taken responsibility for her and does not intend to take her back in or care for her. The family and the volunteers raised money to send Sugar to 10 weeks of Board and Train with Rescue and Rehab near Portland where Sugar is now. She only has about 2.5 weeks left and will be without anywhere to go. Sugar has been on anti anxiety medication for several weeks and the trainers say it helped her immensely. She has gone through quite a lot in the last few months so its possible she wont have to remain on meds forever. Aside from 10 weeks of training she comes with 2 free lessons. She is in the Portland area and available for meetup. She has lived with dogs without issues.

My family and I took in Luna when she was just 8 weeks old after our beloved schnauzer passed away. Last year, through some financial issues we were forced to leave our home and stay with my parents. We have tried to keep her, but they do not want her in their home. I have tried tiredly to look for a family to take her in but no one is willing to give her a home. I truly just want a good home for her with a family that will love her the way she deserves. Luna is about to be 3 years old in April of 2026. She got her first set of shots but has not received anymore as of today with everything that has gone on. She is a good dog that loves to play, she does dig a bit, and we have tried to kick that habit but she's also very stubborn. She has been well behaved with our kids, loving on them all the time. I believe she can behave well with other dogs as well but I have not tested that with her myself. I am sure with the right family, she will thrive.
