Story
Meet Koda! This sweet boy came to us with his sister after their owner could no longer care for them. While he's a bit timid at first, once he starts to feel comfortable, he transforms into the best cuddle buddy. The busy shelter setting can be overwhelming for him, so he's looking for a patient, loving home where he can truly relax and let his affectionate personality shine. Primary Color: Black Weight: 50.4 Age: 1yrs 6mths 3wks

Story
Waylon is a special boy looking for a patient and experienced adopter with another playful, confident dog in the home. He thrives with a canine companion to help him build confidence and navigate the world at his own pace. Found in a park with his supposed littermates and mother, Waylon is extremely fearful and skittish around new people. Future adopters should expect that he will take time to warm up and may not allow petting for a while. However, with patience and the support of a resident dog, he will slowly start to come out of his shell. Once comfortable, his playful, puppy-like personality shines through! He loves rough-and-tumble play but doesn't always recognize when other dogs need a break. Waylon is a high-energy pup who enjoys walks, outdoor play, and interactive activities. He’s still learning proper chewing habits and will need supervision with toys, socks, and rugs. He has been doing well with baths, brushing, and nail trims. Due to his skittish nature, he cannot be trusted off-leash unless in a secure, fenced area. Waylon currently knows “sit,” “down,” and “load up” (into the car) and is working on “wait” and “ok.” With time, patience, and the right home, Waylon will be a rewarding companion! House trained: Knows what to do once outside but doesn’t know how to signal the needs to go out, as long as he is taken out every couple hours he doesn’t have accidentsLeash trained: Yes, with people he knows. With strangers he tries to escape. Does best with a martingale collar.Kennel trained: Yes, he loves his kennel and will take naps in it on his ownRides well in a car: Yes - he rides in a kennel in the car and even jumps into and out of the car on his own nowGood with dogs: Yes - a confident, playful dog in the home is an absolute must.Good with cats: He doesn't harm them, but he is rambunctious and wants to play Good with children: Would not do well with children due to fearful nature Apartment qualified: Yes, for the right person. He occassionally barks and howls if he gets spooked Health concerns/special needs: Adopter might choose do anxiety meds We believe Waylon is a German Shepherd and was born around 5-1-2024. This puppy/dog is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $200 which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter. If you’re interested in adopting this puppy/dog, please submit an inquiry or email BraveAnimalRescue@gmail.com to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). Story
Izzy is one of 7 puppies that came to us with her mother. As her personality has emerged, she has shown that her passion in life is definitely drama. We aren't sure whether to laugh or face palm at her dramatics because she has proven to be the top of her class (of 7) in this particular area. She exaggerates her frustration and sometimes screams as though she is being killed when really it's simply that she can't get her leg to wake up. She's being fostered with her brother, Moses, and they are definitely a good pair since Izzy is a bit of a bossy girl. Let's just say she is a girl and proud to lead. She is crate trained and very much on her way to housetrained but as all puppies, you need to watch her signs. If you are interested in this sweetheart, fill out an application and start the process for full on entertainment in your home, she's the best!

Story
Charley is a sweetheart!! She is the only one from her litter whose ears matured ahead of the rest of the pack and stick straight up. We won't speculate whether that is due to her being more mature herself, but we're betting that is not the case. But it definitely gives her one of the cutest little faces we have seen. Miss Charley does like to snuggle on the couch, but that is after getting in some play time and some investigating out in the yard. She loves to chew on her deer antler and on bully sticks while hanging on the couch. While she can be ornery, once you pet her and have her next to you, she melts into you and enjoys every second of being loved up. Charley loves to be around other dogs and is in her element when she gets to play. She loves chasing her ball and she is learning to fetch. Her foster is working on commands with her and she is very treat motivated. she is kennel trained and potty trained. She does have a doggy door at her current foster home and loves to run in and out of it. If you think this sweet face would be the best addition to your family, please fill out an application. She is such a sweet girl and would love to find her forever family.

Story
Jackson is a sweet, loyal, 6 year old German Shepherd. He will become highly attached to his primary caregiver and become your shadow. He is used to being indoors where he can be close to his person, but lives walks and playing ball outside. His ideal new home would be a single person or couple that has time to spend with him.
