Story
Kat and her puppy were picked up as strays and rescued from a small, over-crowded shelter in New Mexico where they were in danger of being euthanized to make room for new dogs. A local New Mexico rescue quickly got them to safety in a temporary foster home and now we are seeking a foster so Kat can come to Colorado! (the puppy has been adopted). The vet estimated Kat is 6 to 7 years old. She is very sweet, a little bity shy and full of love! If you can help us by fostering Kat, please apply on the website.   Here is what her temp foster said about Kat! Kat is a loving cuddle bug that would love to be someone’s walking companion. She likely about 6 or 7 years old, but still a puppy at heart. She LOVES toys, kids, walks, all the attention and small dogs. Though she has had crate training, she doesn’t like being crated and complains while crated. She’s also smart enough to open her crate, so we had extra locks put on hers. I do not recommend her in a house with cats. If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $150 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2307228##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sirius, who we have affectionately renamed/nicknamed Bear, is just that…a fluffy, cuddly teddy bear. His calm and sweet demeanor makes great company and he loves nuzzling into your lap or backing up to you so you can give him a good scratch on his behind. He is very friendly with our hyper 3 year old border collie mix and they love to play together. They’ve had some disputes over sharing toys and can get territorial with their food but other than that they’ve become good pals. We don’t have cats so we aren’t sure if he is cat friendly however he has tried to chase the cats that walk the back of our fence. Bear does good on a leash and loves going for walks and car rides. He’s confidently learned how to “sit” and we’re sure he could learn many other commands with a bit of training. He is potty trained and we only had one accident (possibly marking) at first. He was a bit nervous at first getting used to our house (fearful of the hardwood floors, doorways, and hallways) but he was brave and settled in very nicely with us. We attempted to crate train him because our current dog is but found that that brought out a lot of unneeded anxiety for him. We can trust him when we are gone from the house a few hours as he just naps on the couch until we come home. At night he is happy to sleep in bed with us or on his own in the living room. He’s a great dog that wants to make his new best friend happy and deserves the same.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 11, 2025, 10:13 pm

Story
Brioche is a german shepherd girl who found herself in a California shelter and not a good place at all to be. She is a 1 year old or so girl of about 48 pounds. We think she is mostly german shepherd or close to it. She is on her way to TRACS and will be here and available on the 18h of February. She can be picked up at TRACS then or picked up in Missoula as she flies in on Tuesday the 18th. She is doing great in her foster area and she is dog and kid friendly. Not sure about cats yet, but she has a great personality so she may be good with them too. She will be spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and all medical completed. She can be adopted for $300. She was $250 just to get here!

Story
HI - I'M ROSEY! I'm an adorable and easygoing German Shepherd puppy in need of home. Based on my looks and size, I'm about 3 months old! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter right before Valentine's Day (hence my name), and now I'm waiting for a foster or forever home. I weigh about 20 lbs., though am a growing girl. Not sure if I'm a purebred or a mix, but time will tell! I'm super cute! I am great with other dogs and I love people. I'm also very quiet for a puppy! I of course am not spayed yet - much too young - and will be spayed when the vet says I'm ready. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET NICO! Nico is a purebred, 8-year-old German Shepherd, recently saved from a crowded California shelter, after being picked up as a stray. He needs a foster or forever home. Nobody claimed him, and he was rescued in the nick of time. Nico seems to like some dogs and not others, though the jury is still out on that as we continue to get to know him. He's a gorgeous dog and in good health, and extremely sweet, gentle and loving. He will make a fabulous companion. Nico weighs about 80 lbs. Please email for an application.
