Story
We got Oscar when he was 8 weeks old from a rescue. We have tried reaching out to them but it appears they are no longer in operation. He is part German Shepard, Dodson, chicahua, shitzu and I think Doberman. We did a dna test which we can forward when he was younger. He is a fun dog but we have moved into our camper in May 2024, at first he did fine but then storms came and he has been terrified every since. He needs a yard to play in and we can not provide that for him. He has been on a leash before but not often because we use a trainer on him. He has always been around dogs and kids. We only kennel him when we leave to go somewhere, otherwise he is roaming free. At night he sleeps on small blankets on our bedroom floor and had no issues. He does have the occasional accident when he 1st meets someone, we call this happy tinkles, but otherwise he lets you know when he needs to go out. We only give him hard toys because he will destroy the soft toys.

Story
Lu is a 3 year old Shepard mix looking for a new home. We adopted Lu about 2 years ago from KC Pet Project. Unfortunately he has resource guarding issues with our other older dog, which is why we are looking to rehome him. We have not had issues with him resource guarding from us. He is a lovable goofy dog who loves walks, playing fetch, and being outside, and laying about on the couch. Lu should live in a single pet home due to his resource guarding. He is very well trained otherwise and is familiar with an e-collar (not a shock collar). He knows place, sit, stay, heel, no, and come. We have two small children and have not had issues outside of him sometimes wanting space. For any interested new families we would be willing to provide as much information and answer any questions about Lu.

Story
We rescued Chico from the streets of Texas. Chico was born to a purebred German Shepherd who was pregnant by a stray. Chico loves people & kids. He is a goofball & just wants to play all day. He loves playing with his litter mate Cielo who is also up for adoption. He loves being outside but will come in for some ear rubs & knee bones. He does need socialization & training. He does not show any signs of aggression to people. He loves peanut butter in his kong, tug of war, wrestling, running & bones. He is neutered, vaccinated yearly & gets a monthly heartworm preventative. He's house trained, crate trained & leash trained. He's such a sweet, goofy boy & behaves very well. Unfortunately we do need to rehome him due to having a small child in the home who is scared of him.

Story
We rescued Cielo from the streets of Texas. Cielo was born to a purebred German Shepherd who was pregnant by a stray. She loves her people but does show aggression to kids. She is a lover & very calm. She just wants to cuddle all day. She loves knee bones & belly rubs. She loves peanut butter in her kong, tug of war, fetch, squeaky balls, swimming, running, playing in & eating the snow. She spent her whole life with her litter mate Chico who is also up for adoption but she does need socialization & training. She is not spayed (isn't really required to be either), gets vaccinated every year & gets a monthly heartworm preventative. She knows commands & listens very well. She is on a potty schedule, crate trained & leash trained. She is a sweet girl & behaves well but we do have to rehome her due to having a small child in the home.

Mocha is a very sweet girl. She is a 5 year old German Shepherd/Husky mix. She needs someone that understands the breeds and the quirks that come with it. She believes everyone wants to be her friend amd thinks they needs hugs. She is in need of a home with a fenced back yard as she does not understand not running off. She will come back but on her terms. She has separation anxiety that presents in the form of destructive behavior and is kenneled during the day. She hides under beds when she is feeling anxious. She is not at all bothered by things like thunder or fireworks. We adopted her from KC Pet Project 2 years ago but life has changed since then. Between kids leaving home for college and playing school and club sports,she just is not getting the time and attention she needs/deserves. Rehoming fee is just to cover half the cost of her kennel hat will come with her.

Hi my name is Felicity and I am reaching out in need of some guidance. My boyfriend recently passed away and left behind two adult male german shepherds. I am caring for them now but I am a bit overwhelmed as I have my own dog and running a business. Basically, I am not wanting them to go into a shelter but I am curious to know if there is a way for me to be able to foster them at my own home and you put them up on your website to be fostered by someone else or adopted eventually? I have never done something like this so I am trying to get options and ideas. I have also already reached out to the german shepherd rescues and everyone is full. So my conclusion in what I can come up with is to ask to have them on your website to be adopted/fostered. I am requesting they stay together, they have been through a lot and find comfort in one another. I am hoping for a younger couple who like to hike or a retired couple who have the time? Please let me know your thoughts and advice!
