Adopt Ahsoka Ahsoka had at least two litters and eventually found herself in a small shelter (her last litter of puppies are in our rescue.) She was on the euthanasia list. All it would take is one dog to come in and her life would be over. We worked to find her a foster so her precious life wouldn't end because she had no place to go. Now, Ahsoka is in a foster home! You would never know she has been through so much. She is just the sweetest and so smart. She's working on gaining weight and loves to eat, but takes treats gently from your hand. She ADORES her foster's 8 year old daughter and knows to be gentle when they play. She's good with other dogs too and couldn't care less about cats. She's working on getting more comfortable in the car and learning where her place to sit is. She is kennel and potty trained and walks well on a leash. Her adoption fee is 300$. This covers cost of spay, microchip, rabies vaccine, 3 rounds of distemper/parvo vaccine, rabies vaccine, 2 rounds of leptospirosis vaccine, dewormer, bordetella vaccine, and she's been on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Spayed Female Age: 3-5 Size: 55-65 lbs Jambalaya was rescued from life on the streets where her previous owners left her outdoors to roam downtown kansas city and did not provide her shelter or care. Neighbors saw that she was losing her hair and looked thin, so they contacted us to step in. We were able to get her signed over to our care and have begun treatment for her mange which was the cause of her hair loss. Jambalaya is very sweet, affectionate, loves walks, and loves snacks! She has tested well with dogs around her size and would love a home where she can be a couch potato! She is fairly laid back as long as she gets her regular walks and outside time. She does get anxious in kennels and would love a home with someone who could be home with her more often than not, or would take her along on adventures! This Senior Pair of boys was rescued by animal control officers who were called to a hoarding neglect case in which multiple German shepherd dogs were seized from the home. These boys were the oldest of the group and we believe they have been together their entire lives. They are very attached to each other, so we need to adopt them out as a bonded pair. They are so sweet, very smart, and love LOVE! They are currently in a foster home and are doing great with learning their routine. They are typical Shepherds, they love to explore and love affection, but as they are older they don't need too much before they are ready to relax. Maizie is a shepherd mix, around 1 year, 9 months. She can be a little timid at first, but she will daintily jump up for some love as she opens up. Maizie recently went on a Dog Day Out! Here`s what our volunteer had to say: We took her to chill and play at our home and in our yard. Maizie is a bit timid at first, especially with my husband. We gave her a bit of time and space and she did relax after just a bit. She was such a love bug with myself and our little girls (4 and 1.5). She’ll be your shadow and need time to adjust to new people, but what a wonderful dog!We are still learning more about Maizie, but we do know she wants a forever family!
