Story
Hello! We adopted Diablo when he was only a couple months old, and now he is almost 3. He is a very good boy and is house trained. Sadly our schedule has changed too much to the point that it is unfair for him :(. We are looking for a loving home that will have time to play with him, take him on walks, and give him all the snuggles. He loves playing with other dogs, but we are not sure how he gets along with cats. He is also great with kids as he is gentle and patient with them. He is a very goofy boy and is guaranteed to make you smile and laugh. While he loves to play and run around, he also loves to snuggle and chill out.

Story
Biscuit is a very energetic, young dog looking for a home with some patience and stability. His ideal family will be home often as the thought of being without his people is just crazy talk. He has lived with other dogs in the past/grown up with them, but he may be a bit much for smaller dogs or ones that can't keep up with his energy level. Biscuit knows that there will be some growing pains between you and him, but he hopes you'll stick it out together! His foster says "Biscuit was initially a bit of a handful, but he's steadily improved every single day. He quickly made it known that he’s not a fan of being left in his crate, even for short periods of time. However, after about five days of consistency, things calmed down considerably. There’s still some crying when he’s in the crate, but much less barking, and he’s much more willing to go in, needing just a gentle nudge without much fuss. When he’s out in the house, he’s very playful with my dog, who is about the same size. They get pretty rowdy and sometimes a bit out of hand, but he responds well to correction. They also spend a lot of time lounging on the couch, and Biscuit is a big cuddler! His coat is incredibly soft, and he absolutely loves being petted and touched. When I have company, Biscuit has been very well-mannered and friendly. He immediately greets guests with a wagging tail, a wiggly butt, and lots of licks. Biscuit’s main challenges are house and crate training, as well as some resource guarding of his food around other animals. He hasn’t shown any of this behavior toward me, but I would recommend being cautious around young children or other pets."

Story
Name: Athena Age: 3-4 years Breed: German Shepherd Gender: Spayed Female Current Weight: 52lbs Estimated weight when grown: Full Grown House broke: Yes- mostly Good with Dogs: Yes, if introduced properly Good with Cats: Yes, if introduced properly Good with Children: Yes, if introduced properly Heartworm Test: Neg Adoption Fee: $100 Athena was brought to the shelter along with her brother Bass because their owner unfortunately passed away and family was unable to care for her. During her time at the shelter, she was extremely fearful, anxious and did not do well. Because of this, she is currently being fostered. If interested in meeting Athena, please see shelter staff to set up a time and day to meet her. Outside of the shelter, Athena remains an anxious dog, as she struggles with separation anxiety. She continues to grow more confident in her foster home but may need some time to adjust in her forever home. She is a bright and happy dog when she is around her foster family, loves playing and receiving attention. She does very well with the dogs in the home and adores playing with them. She does well with the cats in the home and will occasionally try to play with them. She is a quick learner and has already adapted to the house rules. She gets nervous in new environments and when she is around unfamiliar people. Athena would do best in a house rather than in an apartment as she can get noisy when she is excited/nervous and she has lots of energy. If you are interested in learning more about Athena, please ask shelter staff about her or refer to the history form filled out by her foster. The shelter provides a 5-day health guarantee for adopted animals. This includes health conditions not present or known about by the shelter at the of adoption, which adopter becomes aware of within 5 days. Injuries or accidents that occur at the adopter's home are not covered. The shelter is not responsible for incurred costs from local veterinarians due to non-compliance. ALL adoptions are final! Animals can be returned to the shelter for any reason, however, there are NO refunds or exchanges.

Story
Alvin is a sweet boy, who just wants to play. He loves to be outside in the sun and playing a good old game of fetch. He loves all the cuddles and is very appreciative of all the love he gets. He does good on his daily walks. We are working on teaching him basic commands, which he is learning quickly. He is a great dog and needs his furever home!
