Story
Location: Ruthton, MN Hey there! My name is Joni and I am the sweetest girl you'll ever meet! When I'm playing with other dogs I sometimes turn into a feisty little girl (foster mom says I'm all bark, no bite - whatever that means)! My dream home would be one that comes with a lot of cuddles, treats, and playing outside! I am happiest when I'm playing outside! If you're willing to play with me, we are going to be best friends! My foster mom says I would do best with an active family or another doggy sibling to play with! I love dogs and people of all ages! However, I do like to play a little rough with cats. So, it'd be best if I go to a home with only dogs or with dog savvy cats that can get away from me if I'm playing too rough. They're just so much fun! I'm still getting used to being away from foster mom. She keeps putting me in this thing called a playpen? Weird but whatever! I am quiet during the day and I sleep soundly throughout the night; however, once I hear your alarm clock I will let you know that I am awake! I love playing with toys and chasing my furry friends around! I am also very treat motivated and I love learning new tricks. I am so excited to meet you and I am ready to find my forever home! ---------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are a best guess.

Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Hi! My name is Fred! I am a big boy weighing in at 90lb, but I am the gentle giant type. I love pets and to chase tennis balls in the yard. It takes me a while to get comfortable with other dogs in the home, but I do like to play and wrestle once I get to know them. I enjoy sitting on the couch as much as I like to play, so I am a great combination of a couch potato and a fella that loves walks! I am used to being on a leash and I try not to pull unless I see something super interesting. I currently have a few cats as housemates. I like them a lot but sometimes they find my size and excitement to be a bit off putting, but I am always nice with them. I don't make a mess in my kennel and I got to the door to let my foster parents know that I need to go potty! I am a well behaved boy and I think I would make a great addition to your home! -------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN Guess who's all grown up now? This guy! I've hit a growth spurt, and boy, has it been interesting. Picture this: long, lanky legs that would make a supermodel jealous, attached to a body that's decidedly... well, let's say "elongated." Imagine a wiener dog who raided the stilts cupboard, and you've got me in a nutshell. But that's not all, folks. Drumroll, please... I'm officially potty trained! That's right, no more "accidents" or suspicious puddles. I've mastered the art of doing my business outside like a true gentleman. I've got to say, I'm pretty proud of myself. Who knew growing up could be so rewarding? And here's another feather in my cap - I've learned how to play fetch! That's right, I'm not just a pretty face with abnormally long legs. I'm a bona fide retriever now. Throw a ball, and watch me go! Just don't expect a straight line - remember, I'm working with some interesting proportions here. Speaking of going places, we're making progress on my leash skills. It's a work in progress, mind you. Those pesky squirrels are everywhere, taunting me with their bushy tails and acorn-hoarding ways. But I'm trying my best to focus on the walk and not on planning world domination via squirrel elimination. Baby steps, right? Oh, and I've got a new nickname! My foster dad calls me Hugh Jackman - I think it's because of my dashing good looks and impressive physique. My foster mom's not so keen on it, so they've compromised and shortened it to Jack. It's led to some pretty hilarious moments around the house. Picture this: I'm out in the yard, doing my business like the well-trained gentleman I am, and I hear, "Good job pooping, Hugh Jackman!" Talk about a confidence booster! So, what do you say? Ready to add some fur, fun, and Hollywood-level charm to your life? With my new streamlined body, impeccable bathroom manners, and celebrity nickname, I'm quite the catch. Adopt me, and I promise to be the best decision you've made since discovering belly rubs! ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Marion, SD My name is Peyton and I'm ready to meet my forever family! I'm calm and timid at first but become a goofy and outgoing girl once I warm up to you. I'm still learning how to dog, I don't know how to play yet. When I get excited, I don't know what to do with my paws and they just go crazy and there's no controlling them. Please make sure I have supervision around young children because I can't always contain my excitement. I am unsure about cats so far but like other dogs as long as they aren't too up in my face. I love snuggles and I make the cutest sounds when I yawn! I have a good amount of energy so I'm looking for a large yard or someone who will be very active with me. I'm house trained and partially kennel trained. I know how to sit but I'm still learning other commands. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Gunner is an adorable sable male GSD. Gunner lost his mom suddenly and needed a place to go, so we took him in. Gunner had a knee surgery previously, so he does walk a little funny, but that does not stop him from playing with his jolly balls! Gunner should be the only dog in the home at this point in his life. He is crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Experience needed for Gunnar, he’s a great dog, but needs a strong handler. If you are interested in learning more about Gunner, you can apply on our website www.skylarsscholarships.org (the application is listed under the “more” tab).
