Story
Location: St Paul, MN Hi there, I am Bethany! If you’re reading this you must be looking for a forever friend, me too!! I love people and I am all about the attention. I love to roll over for belly rubs and will try to sit on your lap any chance I get. I am very quiet and I have never had an accident! I sit very politely for my food and wait patiently for my walk. I have super leash skills and walk at a comfortable pace. Perfect so far, right?! I do want you to know a couple other things about me. I am a bit shy and unsure when it comes to new things. Unfamiliar sounds and new places can make me a bit nervous. By taking things slow I eventually relax. I think I would be best suited to a home with older, respectful kids 10 and up. Also, one that is patient and could help me to continue to be brave. I am a bit selective about canine friends, so any introduction would need to slow and proper. Or I am happy to your one and only! I really am the sweetest snuggler you will meet. Don’t wait, fill out an application and let’s meet. I can’t wait! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Oso! I am a sweet, gentle dog who loves spending time with my humans. I enjoy playing outside, napping on the couch, and getting peanut butter treats from my foster dad. I am a very laid back dog who just wants to hangout and enjoy life with my humans.  I am a bit shy and a little timid so meeting new people is a little scary. Once I get to know you and start to feel comfortable, I will give you kisses and even snuggle on the couch with you. I tend to warm up to women a little faster than I do men. Finding a family who will be patient and understanding while I learn and gain confidence is very important.  I really enjoy being outside! I get the cutest little zoomies and will try to get my humans to play with me. The cold doesn’t seem to bother me one bit. I am a little shy when it comes to going to the bathroom while leashed. Because of this (and my love of playing outside!) I would do best in a home that has a fenced in yard.  Hanging out with my human is my favorite thing. I prefer to be wherever they are (I am a great companion!). We are working on kennel training, and while I do well, it isn’t my favorite place to be. I would much rather me laying on the couch near my foster mom. I am not super talkative unless I am playing outside or alerting my humans that there is someone new at the door. I have done well with other laid back dogs but need to find a home with no cats. My foster family thinks I am going to make a wonderful companion for a loving family!    Oso is from a local shelter. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Mac isn't just the cutest guy you've ever seen, he's got the personality and brains to match! Mac came in as a stray pup from Pine Ridge Reservation and is loving the indoor-dog life. Very affectionate and sweet with humans of all ages (even pesky toddlers ;)), and has proven to get along and respect resident dogs, and cats! Although I wouldn't officially call Mac potty-trained, he has had almost no accidents with regularly offered potty breaks and understands that going outside is the goal...he is already starting to sit by the door when wanting to be let out, and we have incorporated "bell training" into his routine which he is responding to well. He is starting to learn basic commands (sit, lay down) and proving to be a VERY smart guy! He is still a young puppy and will need time and patience with formal training but he has made it clear that he's a very quick learner. We haven't had much leash training opportunity just yet, but the few times we have utilized the leash he doesn't object and is happy to follow the lead of his foster mom. Mac would do best in an affectionate home where he has minimal crate time, or utilizes a gated area when left alone versus a crate setup. He thrives off of close connection and will be a very loyal and loving companion to the lucky people that get to add this cutie to their family! Macaroni is from a local reservation.
