Koda along with his family relocated to Minnesota this year and unfortunately his family is too busy with their schedule for him. He needs a family that can meet his needs of playing outside with a fenced in yard, going on long walks, and giving him all the attention he desires. Koda loves children, however at times gets too excited doesn’t realize how big he is at times and may push a child over. He’s been gradually getting better at handling his excitement. It is recommended he have a new owner that is willing to take the time to work on his manners.

Hello my name is Burdock, I'm from Minnesota! From his foster: Burdock (we call him Birdie) a 1 year old GSD mix. He loves people and looooves belly rubs. He is great with my teens, but still has a tiny bit of very gentle puppy mouthiness so might not be good with little kids right now. Birdie is looking to be an only animal, he doesn't want to share the couch with others and thinks that he should have all of the belly rubs. He does like to to romp around and isn't aware of his big size so a fenced yard would be ideal as his leash manners could use some work. He loves rawhide-style bones but doesn't seem to understand toys/balls yet He is a lover who will flop onto you for pets. Just the absolute sweetest.

Once let out, I love to play and burn off my puppy energy. I primarily go outside to do my duties by letting you know via my actions or a slight whimper. I do, however, have an occasional accident being I am only about 11 weeks old. I know my boundaries within my Foster home and abide by them. I am very good around people and enjoy all the extra attention. I recently visited my first brewery and was an instant celebrity taking in all the attention from little children, adults, and a few other dogs. I socialize very well among others!
