Story
This adorable young lady is 1yr old potentially German Shep/husky x? She is right around 45 pounds, so a great size! Starla is a sweetheart of a girl, just a bit shy to begin with when meeting you. Starla would like a nice beginning date to get to know you before she feels comfortable. After she is comfy with you then she is quite playful and affectionate! Starla has lived with kids, cats and dogs but we would like to retest all of the above here just to make sure! Her adoption fee is $200 plus tax. Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news! All animals up for adoption at the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative (if age appropriate), up to date on vaccinations (a booster may be needed), given flea and tick preventative, given heartworm preventative, dewormed, and treated for anything necessary: such as dental cleanings, ear infections, etc. Please visit our website for prices and more information about our hours. No pre-applications are accepted, please come to the shelter with your family with no appointment needed. If you have another dog, we’d like an appointment to do a meet and greet with your other dog. We can cat test here at the shelter. If you have questions, please email or call us and we’ll answer your questions the best we can. Potty training is not guaranteed nor implied. Story
Koda was adopted in Wasilla, Alaska by a military family with children (ages ranging from 0-1 year old). Koda along with his family relocated to Minnesota this year and unfortunately his family is too busy with their schedule for him. He needs a family that can meet his needs of playing outside with a fenced in yard, going on long walks, and giving him all the attention he desires. Koda loves children, however at times gets too excited doesn’t realize how big he is at times and may push a child over. He’s been gradually getting better at handling his excitement. It is recommended he have a new owner that is willing to take the time to work on his manners.
