Story
Location: Marion, SD My name is Peyton and I'm ready to meet my forever family! I'm calm and timid at first but become a goofy and outgoing girl once I warm up to you. I'm still learning how to dog, I don't know how to play yet. When I get excited, I don't know what to do with my paws and they just go crazy and there's no controlling them. I am good with cats and like other pups! I don't know if I like children (haven't been around them) but my foster mom thinks I would since I love everyone and everything, I do use my paw to get attention or to show my love (sometimes I don't know my own strength). I now know what "sit" "come" and "no" mean. I am not food aggressive, submissive attitude, extremely treat motivated and I loves to cuddle with people. I love snuggles and I make the cutest sounds when I yawn! I have a good amount of energy so I'm looking for a large yard or someone who will be very active with me. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Hello my name is Buffy and I am from Minnesota. From her foster: Buffy is the sweetest girl you'll meet! She loves to go on walks and enjoys running around our backyard and neighborhood park. She's great at walks - will only pull from time to time but responds great to reminders to not pull and never goes after any squirrels or bunnies. She mostly ignores other dogs in the neighborhood but likes to lay around with our resident pup or play with her at the park. She is so calm, rarely barks (we've only heard a couple small barks when new people come to the door) and does amazing in her crate. She spends most of the day snoozing away on her bed or in her crate. She's very timid when you first meet her but the longer you know her the more loving she gets. She loves to snuggle up on our beds to sleep and only jumps up when you pat the bed so she knows it's ok to hop up. She does amazing with our kids and seems to love them more than us! She is going to be a great loyal companion - maybe yours?

Story
Hello my name is Thistle, I'm from Minnesota! Hi, my name is Thistle, but my foster family has been calling me Boden. I am a sweet, snuggly, and goofy pup! I am being fostered at an in-home daycare, so I am around kids ages 2 years to 4 years old plus the resident’s children ages 14 and 19 years old and their resident dog. I am very playful and enjoy pulling out toys one by one from the toy bin, especially the tennis balls! I am always looking for someone to follow around but I’m also happy chewing on a bone or playing with a toy. I’m an expert snuggler and know how to fit myself in the tiniest spaces to get some cuddles! I am working on being potty trained and am an avid bell ringer to be let out! I am still learning that being kenneled isn’t as terrifying as it was when I first got here but I still am not a fan of it. I will bark/whine for a bit before I eventually settle down. I know how to 'sit' and am very excited to show this off when treats and food are involved. Leash training is also going very well. We are working on down and to not nibble on hands or clothing! I’m just a typical puppy that is eager to learn and I can’t wait to meet you!

I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org to sign up to foster! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt I will likely need a leg amputation followed by some rest and relaxation, but I hear tripods get along just fine! Hello my name is Burdock, I'm from Minnesota! From his temp foster: Burdock (we call him Birdie) a 1 year old GSD mix. He loves people and looooves belly rubs. He is great with my teens, but still has a tiny bit of very gentle puppy mouthiness so might not be good with little kids right now. Birdie is looking to be an only animal, he doesn't want to share the couch with others and thinks that he should have all of the belly rubs. He does like to to romp around and isn't aware of his big size so a fenced yard would be ideal as his leash manners could use some work. He loves rawhide-style bones but doesn't seem to understand toys/balls yet He is a lover who will flop onto you for pets. Just the absolute sweetest.

Story
Who has four paws, the softest fur, the sweetest soul and loves to cozy up with her people?! Why it’s me, Stella Jane! My favorite things in the world are spending time on the couch with my foster mom and dad, playing with my foster dog siblings, and hoarding my toys and bones on my spot on the couch. If your idea of fun is to hang out on the couch and binge watch Netflix or catch a nice long sports game, then I am your girl! I am a nervous girl, I don’t really care to be outside on my leash or around people I don’t know. You see, the world used to be a very scary place for me. But now that I am in Minnesota with my foster mom and dad, I am learning that I don’t have to be scared! It is taking me a while but my foster mom always ensures me I will never not have a cozy couch to relax on ever again! My future family will need to be patient as it takes me a while to get used to strangers. I also would love to find a home with a dog companion to show me the world isn't so scary! --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hello there, my name is Bonny. I have been told that I have a gentle soul and a sweet personality. I do great with humans and dogs of all ages! I was rescued from a home that wasn't a safe place for me and my puppies along with many other dogs who also lived there. I raised my puppies and now, they have all found their families! Now it is my turn! One of my favorite things to do is go for a nice walk and then settle in for some quality time with my people. My favorite thing is when you are petting me. It truly is my love language! I am so excited to finally have a family to call my own, could that be you?Bonny is heartworm positive and has completed her treatment. She is awaiting a negative test result which can take place 9 months after treatment per our veterinarians recommendations. She is no longer needing to be on exercise restrictions. Bonny will also need continued use of monthly heartworm preventives going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
