Story
4 Females and 4 Males make up this beautiful litter of German Shepherd and Lab mix puppies. Born on June 25th, these babies didn’t ask to come into the world. They have been denied by every rescue in the south Texas area, to no fault of their own. We knew we couldn’t turn our back on them. Pip, Cleopatra, Zara, Nova, Jasper, Archie, Dodger and Bertie are some of the most calm, gentle, and such sweet, sweet babies you’ll meet. They do not have a mean bone in their body. As of 9/22 they weigh between 18-23 lbs – their dad is a pure-bred German Shepherd, and the mom is a petite (35 lbish) lab mix. We believe these pups will be around 60-65 lbs once full grown. These 8 pups LOVE to play. They love their toys, especially the tug-o-war ones! When they’re super happy, they do zoomies around the yard in pure excitement and happiness. They have been exposed to cats, and they have no issues with them. If anything, the cats bother the puppies hah. They have also met other dogs and love every doggy they meet. These 8 pups have been around elderly people since they were born, the owner of the parents is in his 70s, so they have grown up knowing not to jump, to be gentle and kind. They are VERY laid back. They are all quite submissive, and just go with the flow. They’re very curious and VERY smart. They learn quickly and are very eager to please their humans. They would thrive in almost every type of environment as they’re such good puppies. Very food motivated – they love their breakfast, lunch and dinner and come running when the bucket shakes with food. They’re obsessed with treats, and not picky at all. They’re happy with whatever you have to give them. The females are a little bit more calm than the males, but they all wag their tails when being held and we know with one on one time, they will come out of their shell and be the beautiful, glowing, sweet, SUPER kiss-giving puppies they really are. You can apply to adopt one of these beauties at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org

Whether it's going for a long hike, engaging in a game of fetch, or conquering an agility course, she embraces physical activities with zeal and determination. Her agility and strength make her a natural athlete, always ready to explore and conquer new challenges. Harley's inherent athleticism is matched only by her intelligence, allowing her to quickly learn and excel in various tasks and commands. She thrives on the satisfaction of making her humans proud, always aiming to please and impress. Her loyalty and devotion are unwavering, making her an ideal companion for those seeking a true bond with their four-legged friend.   Harley has not fully learned to share her toys and can be protective of her food, so teenagers and above are best if children are in the home.   Harley plays great with other large breed male dogs . You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ace is a magnificent example of the GSD breed.  He is playful yet serious, handsome and regal; this affectionate and intelligent boy is ready for an experienced GSD adopter.   Ball playing is his specialty, and he will play as long as someone will throw the ball!  Our dedicated volunteers have been working with Ace and he has excellent leash manners, too!  Ace is great with other dogs but cats are an unknown at this time.   Due to his size he is best suited for a family with teenagers or older.  Ace will be a devoted companion and great addition to an active home.  You will find that spending time with him walking, hiking or jogging will be a joy.  Check out the video of him playing fetch.  He is such a good boy. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Goose was a beloved family pet who was surrendered due to landlord issues.  This was an agonizing decision  because Goose's best friend was an 11 year old child :-( With no remedy in sight to the housing issue, the family was desperate to find Goose a safe place and drove 4 hours to bring Goose to safety with ASR.  Goose is friendly and social with everyone she meets at ASR and has gotten along well with male dogs.  She is crate and house trained. She lived with two senior cats in her prior life, and while separated by a baby gate, Goose appeared uninterested in them. Goose is ready to meet prospective adopters now and find her new forever family. Check out her videos and the picture of her walking nicely with the other dogs. THANK YOU Liz G. for sponsoring GOOSE!!! If you have not yet completed our Application process, please complete our Adoption Application at www.allshepherdrescue.com. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Dano is a typical young GSD. He is very active and would be a great hiking companion or fetch partner. It is unknown how he would do with other dogs in the home,  but he did well during training class. As with most herding breeds, Dano can be a little nippy at times. He will need an experienced handler to teach better manners.  A female owner would be best. Does not do well with cats.
