Ranger is a very sweet German Shepherd, almost 2 years old, with a birthday on December 21st. He's full of energy, loves to play, and enjoys swimming. I got him when he was 5 months old. He's house trained and great with children. Unfortunately, I can't keep him due to my busy schedule now. He needs lots of love and attention.

Story
Dugan! This gorgeous boy with the Harry Potter forehead mark is 17 pounds at the 3 month mark and growing fast! He loves his foster dad and cuddling, and he plays really nicely with his sisters. His foster says he is brave and gives lavish kisses, and is already starting to get the hang of leash walking. Just a really nice boy! Dugan and his siblings have been raised by their all-star mama Gracie and their loving foster parents from just 3 days old. They are happy, healthy, and well-socialized. They are growing fast and developing unique personalities; with a lineup of stunning colors and patterns, there's a standout player for everyone. Gracie, the MVP herself who's also looking for her forever family, and who Dugan resembles, weighs in at around 65 pounds. While the dad's stats are a mystery, we're betting these pups will grow to about the same size as their superstar mom - perfect! The adoption fee for this puppy is $475, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. A $250 spay/neuter deposit is required at time of adoption. This fee covers spay/neuter at one of PetConnect's preferred veterinary partners. If the adopter chooses to use their own veterinarian, the deposit will be returned with proof of sterilization. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system. Story
Evelyn is one of Gracie's 11 pups, 16 pounds and 11 weeks of pure puppy goodness. With her striking dark brindle face mask and beautiful white coat, she's definitely a standout. This confident and outgoing girl is not only smart but also a quick learner. She gets along well with the big dogs in her foster home without being a nuisance, making her an ideal candidate for a canine sibling. Like all her siblings, Evelyn is incredibly affectionate with her humans, and her foster describes her as extremely sweet, easygoing, and loving towards both dogs and people. Evelyn and her siblings have been raised by their all-star mama Gracie and their loving foster parents from just 3 days old. All of the pups are happy, healthy, and well-socialized and starting to get the hang of housebreaking. They are growing fast and developing unique personalities; with a lineup of stunning colors and patterns, there's someone for everyone. Marla is a brave, affectionate and gorgeous girl with her Snow White coat and just the hint of some perfect puppy freckles on her ears. She is a 3 month old 16 pound calm and quiet pup who waits her turn for dinner and gets along beautifully with the other dogs at her Foster's house. She has been started on leash walking and is doing well with it - just an easy, good little girl to join your pack. Story
Gracie's Jimmy, 12 weeks old and 13 pounds! This little man is calm and well-mannered and he plays beautifully with his siblings and his foster's dog. He is just a really good boy! Jimmy is very chill and a little bit cautious around new things, so he would love a home with another confident dog to take him under their wing and show him the ropes. Jimmy has a striking brindle coat and a wonderful manner about him; he is treat motivated so should be easy to train; his foster mom says he is "so easy to love". Jimmy and his siblings have been raised by their all-star mama Gracie and their loving foster parents from just 3 days old. They are happy, healthy, and well-socialized and all are making great strides on their housebreaking skills. They are growing fast and developing unique personalities; with a lineup of stunning colors; Jimmy's caramel-brown brindle with symmetrical white markings is really striking. 🐾 Adoption Notice 🐾 Meet Max, a sweet and lovable German Shepherd looking for his forever home! Max is 3 years old and adores kids, dogs, and cats. He enjoys going for walks, hiking in nature, cuddling up, and playing with his favorite balls. Max is full of energy and requires an owner who can devote time to his exercise and care needs. As a German Shepherd, Max can be a bit anxious at times and may bark when he's scared or nervous, but don't let that fool you – he's a big sweetheart at heart! Max is seeking an understanding owner who can provide a supportive and patient environment. Max is also deeply bonded with his younger brother Milo, and we are open to rehoming them together for a perfect family match. We are heartbroken to have to rehome Max and Milo, but we want to ensure they find a loving and caring home. If you are ready to welcome this dynamic duo or give Max a loving home, please reach out to us.

Story
Dodger, A.K.A. Pretty Boy (according to his shelter paperwork!), is a 10 months old ball of bouncy fun, who needs your love! This 55lb goofball is a whirlwind of excitement, with a wag that could power a small town. Looking at him, you might wonder if he's a German Shepherd in disguise or a friendly Martian visitor! Dodger is a sweetheart who's eager to please. He walks well on leash but will need more consistent training to remind him there's a human on the other end. He loves to explore and seeing his reactions on a walk to every little thing is precious. He gets along great with other dogs but his bouncy and pounce-on play-style may turn some dogs off, so a tolerant resident dog is recommended. Dodger tend to get very excited to see other pups and can vocalize it to the whole neighborhood. It's the only time we have heard him bark! While his kitty and kid experience is unknown, his playful spirit is sure to charm anyone willing to give him a chance. Here's the best part: Dodger needs a foster or forever home! Whether you can offer a loving space for a few weeks or a lifetime, Dodger will shower you with endless cuddles and playful antics. Ready to open your heart and home to this deserving pup by fostering him? We provide all the supplies you need and his vet care takes place at our trusted vet in Burtonsville, MD. Apply to Foster or Adopt Dodger and give him the adventure he deserves by filling out the application at this link: https://bit.ly/4d7XoKd  P.S. Share Dodger's story! Help us find his perfect match! Adoption area: We prioritize homes within 60 miles of Silver Spring, MD. However, fantastic matches in PA, NJ, NY, and WV will be considered!

Story
Hi, it’s nice to meet you. I’m Charlie. I don’t remember much of my previous life other than I had a litter of puppies--and I'm only 1 1/2 years old! The nice people at the shelter found me and then slowly nursed me back to a healthy weight since I was just skin and bones. Now I'm 50 lbs. However, my past doesn’t define me. In fact, the nice people at the shelter have described me as “small and docile.” This is what my foster mom has to say about me: Charlie is a super sweet, gentle, girl who most prefers spending time with her people! She is great on walks and stays right by your side and doesn't pull. She only barks periodically and only if another dog is barking. Charlie is very gentle with our 1-year-old daughter and would be great for a family with kids or another dog because she enjoys playing. She is a snuggler and gives kisses, knows how to sit, is treat-motivated, takes treats gently, and is housetrained. Charlie has separation anxiety and we are currently working on the best methods to make her feel safe and comfortable when we leave the house. She would do best with someone who has previous dog experience, is home the majority of the time, and has the flexibility and patience to work with her so that she can be most comfortable in her new forever home! Charlie will make a fabulous furry family member. She is perfect in every way and once she meets her forever person/people, as long as they give her unconditional love and support, she will bloom into an even more perfect version of herself!  ##2033441##

Story
Hi, my name is Bailey, a one year old, 45 lb., GSD mix and I’m up for fun and adventure! I don’t remember much of my previous life other than I was found as a stray and I have a nub for a tail.  Transitioning to the shelter was scary at first, but I soon learned that people are very nice, and I even started friendships with a couple of other dogs! According to the shelter staff, I walk well on a leash, I’m “very sweet and loving” with people, and I’m always down for play.  My ideal person or family would play with me, take me on walks, and give me lots of toys to play with! So, what do you say, how about giving me a chance?  ##2054800##

Meet Hera, a 3-year-old German Shepherd mom with the heart of a warrior and the soul of a nurturer. Found as a stray in Houston, Hera was discovered keeping her 8 puppies safe in a little den she dug on the side of a hill. Her instinct to protect her babies is unmatched, and her love for them shines through every moment. Though she's a petite 37 lbs, don't let her size fool you—Hera has a huge heart. She’s slowly learning to trust people, and with the right home, we know her sweet, gentle nature will blossom. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a beautiful story, Hera is your girl! Story
Meet Mussa, a sweet Belgian Malinois with a unique twist—one adorable, quirky deformed ear that only adds to her charm! Mussa is as nice as they come, making her a joy to walk with her easy-going nature. She`s also very trainable, always eager to learn new things! When she`s not strutting her stuff on walks, Mussa loves tummy rubs and rolling around in the grass.Mussa is totally house trained and her foster family says she has all the basic commands mastered. She`s been excellent around children and the elderly. Unlike most Malinois dogs, Mussa is chill and cuddly and isn`t bouncing off the walls.Mussa does like to collect things from around her foster family`s home, but have no fear- she`s not chewing on them, she`s just snuggling with them. So if you adopt Mussa and are looking for one of your shoes or that jar of peanuts, you might want to go see if Mussa`s decided she needs some items to nest with.If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll keep you smiling with her playful personality, Mussa is your girl! Reach out to her foster family to learn more or go ahead and submit an adoption questionnaire!
