Story
*Needs new home immediately* Dingo is high energy, very intelligent, and a loyal companion. He does not seem to understand social cues from other dogs. This is the primary reason we are rehoming. He has taken obedience classes and understands sit, down (lay down), stay (lay down position), and focus. He is currently prescribed a flea and tick monthly chewable.

Story
I`m in a FOSTER HOME! If you would like to set up a time to meet with me, please email my foster parent akriskill.hasse@gmail.comHi! I`m Imogen (Gigi to my foster family). I`m a pretty big (75 lb) older lady (9-ish) who loves a good dog bed and face, neck, and ear rubs. When you stop, I sometimes paw at you (nicely) to get started again. I know I`m big but I`m actually such an easy girl. I`m fully potty trained and can be trusted in your house (being confined in a crate or even a bedroom makes me very anxious). I`m good on the leash and will usually go potty right away when you tell me to go. I love to lay outside in the sun and play with dog friends. I also am good with cats and kids. Kind of perfect, right? I think so! I do have a little arthritis, so I`m on medication for that and lots of stairs aren`t my favorite but I do okay with a few. I also have some dental disease, but who doesn`t at my age? My favorite food is canned dog food and I appreciate you helping me clean my bowl because sometimes I just kind of lose interest. But, on the plus side, I won`t eat anything that isn`t my dog food. No counter surfing for me! What do you say to meeting me? I`d love to meet you and show you how lovely I am. Please email my foster mom at kriskill.hasse@gmail.com to set up a time for you (and your family) to meet me

Story
Emma was born and adopted in 2016. She is a pure bread German Shepard from a legitimate line; she was certified upon birth. The initial adopters had trouble adapting their dogs to Emma's presence when she was a puppy, and as a result had to put her up for adoption. She was quickly adopted into a home where she was the only dog. Due to her poor experiences with other dogs at an early age, Emma is very defensive around other dogs. She was house trained and gets along very well with adults and children. She absolutely loves to play frisbee, go for walks and cuddle. Her current family is active duty military and is growing. The attention that Emma deserves and needs cannot be given to her at this time due to the owner's pregnancy and pregnancy complications, work schedules and another tiny human to take care of. We just want what's best for her because she really is just the sweetest girl. She has a lot of personality and really would make an excellent and cuddly addition to any home.

Story
Our beautiful girl is called Kassidy and had a pure German Shepherd momma and dad was a pure Great Pyrenees.  Born on 11/4, this girl is ready for a new home and will be such a wonderful companion for a family.   She is going to be a large girl when fully grown and has the best temperament that is gentle and shy and very smart.  Her curiosity is so sweet to see and what a lover she is when you call her to you for some attention.  You see the first 9 weeks of her life she got little to no attention from the man who owned their GSD Momma.  We are making up for that time now!  The combination of  the German Shepherd intelligence and devotion and the kind gentle spirit of the Great Pyrenees makes a special puppy to consider for your family.  We require that you have Shepherd or Great Pyrenees experience and a fenced yard.  No condos or apartment homes for this large breed and roaming oriented breed of puppy.  She will be a great family pet that will enjoy the company of children, other dogs and even cats.  We anticipate her grow up to be a 80 pound girl when fully grown up!!!   And of course she will be a head-turning beauty!  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    She is ready for a new life and loving family NOW!!!!! PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 28, 2025, 9:28 pm

Story
Sweet, loving little Bentley, a typical terrier! Loves to run and jump like a gazelle in the yard. He is a hunter, though, so be sure the yard has no visitors like chipmunks, groundhogs, rabbits, etc. before he runs free. Like all terriers, Bentley is active and quick-moving. However, he is also responsive to directions; in fact, Bentley is very sensitive and affectionate and is eager to please. Unfortunately, for unknown reasons, he is terrified of men. We are working on this trust issue, but he will most likely be comfortable only in an all-female home. Bentley eats ravenously with a slow feeder dish, sleeps all night, and is completely housetrained. He rarely barks, is fine alone for a few hours, and is not destructive. What more could you ask for? Bentley is a real mix of breeds! His foster ran a DNA test on him and it came as 18% Chihuahua 16% Chow chow 11% Rottweiler 11% German Shepherd 10% Shih Tzu 6% Doberman Pinscher 5% American Cocker Spaniel All other small percentages: Lhasa Apso, Keeshond, American Eskimo, American Pit Bull Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier, Toy Poodle, Border Collie, Shetland Sheepdog, Standard Poodle! If you are seeking a loving little companion, who will enjoy the outdoors with you, and then snuggle up beside you, Bentley is your guy! Just like the high-class car that shares his name, he is a high-class boy! My Profile Age: 6 years old Weight: 31 pounds Good with kids: Unknown Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown, but high prey drive Fenced yard: Yes Suitable for townhouse and/or apartment: No House trained: Yes. Crate trained: Yes Barks when left alone: No Chews inappropriate items: No Training: None yet, looking forward to a class Activity level: Medium Meet Me If you are interested in Bentley, consider letting us know by filling out a (no-obligation) adoption application at pgspca.org/adopt. Please consult our Adoption FAQ before contacting us. Please check the adoption-show-attendees page to see if Bentley will be attending the next adoption show. NOTE: We are an all volunteer group and do not operate a shelter. All of our animals are in foster homes. We are unable to place our animals outside of the Baltimore/DC area.
