Story
My name is Kai Milo and I was surrendered to an over crowded shelter. I am super playful and love people. I love playing with tennis balls and frisbees. I need a little help learning when play time is over. I like playing with other dogs as long as they match my energy and are nice to me. I did live with a cat reportedly but we will have to do proper introductions to check again. I also have been around children.

Story
Meet Forrest, We have seen so much growth in Forrest since he has been here. He used to enjoy bowling, with us being the bowling pins! Now instead of smacking down pins, we can enjoy the trails together, with the sunlight making our shadows long.Sometimes we stop for some butt pats, ear rubs and loving looks. Forrest is a special boy, with a lot of potential for the right handler. He has loyalty to give in spades, soulful eyes and Jolly Ball habit. Forrest is looking for a home where his main handler is physically and mentally strong. Forrest has only been used to having rules and boundaries for a short time and he has been very successful with them. He and his new family will be happiest if those continue.Forrest`s ideal home will be an adult-only one where he can shine without having to worry about any other animals interfering with his toys and food; he doesn`t like to share.Stop by and meet Forrest with any other adults that live in your home. German Shepherd experience is a plus and we would love to introduce him to you!

Story
Hugh was rescued from a kill shelter in CA. He is a big, happy goofball of over 100 lbs. He is very puppyish and loves to play. Hugh has been around kids and other dogs, and does fine. He seems to ignore the cats so we believe he will be OK with them. Hugh is mostly housebroken and is crate trained, and is learning to walk nicely on a leash. This guy would like an active home, but does know how to chill - he has done some training in a home environment so is well on his way to knowing his house manners. Hugh will make a great companion - he is a really fun boy! Story
Finn is a beautiful big boy of just over 2 yrs. He is housebroken and incredibly loyal. He has several weeks of professional training and knows his commands, including "place" and walks well on a leash. He's playful and athletic. Finn would like a stronger handler with breed experience. He can be protective of his people and home without proper guidance from his people. Finn has lived with another dog. He can be a bit dominant. If you are a loving home and would like to open your home and heart to one of our dogs, please fill out our online application to get the approval process started. Story
EXCELLENT DOG ALERT! The lovely Heidy has arrived in Maine, and is looking for her perfect home! We rescued Heidy from the Moreno Valley Shelter in CA a couple of months ago. She went to the shelter because her elderly owners passed away. Heidy is only 3 yrs old and she is a big girl of 80 lbs. Unfortunately, her owners never gave Heidy a lick of any training, manners etc. Luckily a trainer out in CA had a spot for her while we waited for transport, so Heidy has learned her manners, and is now good on leash, and knows her commands! She was also well socialized, taken out in public etc. She has learned a LOT, and knows down, sit, stay, and shake. She is also crate trained! She is a smart girl! The trainer says Heidi has an excellent disposition, and is good with both male and female dogs. She is big and can be rambunctious, so she will be looking for an active home that will walk and hike with her! If you are an active and loving home and would like to open your home and heart to one of our dogs, please fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will not schedule meet and greets without an approved app on file.
