Story
Patches is a very sweet, playful pup who enjoys running and playing with our other dogs outside. She is scared of new people and gets upset by changes in her regular daily routines. She will require a patient and understanding family to help her make a smooth transition into life at home. Her ideal living situation would be a quiet home with a fenced in yard. She would love a canine sibling who can show her the ropes and give her some much needed confidence. Patches is considered special needs, due to her anxious personality - she wasn't socialized with humans as a puppy and will need a patient and understanding family (preferably with another dog) to work with her to help her feel comfortable in her new home and around new people. She would love to have a fenced yard and preferably another doggy sibling to help ease her transition into her adoptive family. She loves playing with other dogs, running outside, and playing with toys. Story
Dr. Johns is a beautiful German Shepherd who was surrendered by family members after his original owner moved out and left him behind. He has been in foster with a dog trainer and is doing amazing! Although gorgeous, some things need to be noted: he is a hard no on cats and small dogs. He does great with digs his size or larger and loves to run. We highly recommend he goes to a home with a fenced yard or experience with exercising such large breeds. play escalates, he becomes uneasy once he is tripped up and the smaller dog runs underneath him. His leash manners could use some work, but his potty training is coming along nicely and would continue to do so with a consistent routine. He will begin heartworm treatment on 2/26. We will require meet and greets for home with other dogs.

Story
We are rehoming our dog Jack because he has been an outside dog most of his life. When we moved to our new house, we tried to bring him inside, but my wife has some pretty severe allergies to himWe can't keep him outside anymore, and we can't keep him inside because of the allergies Jack is a very sweet dog. It takes him a little while to warm up to new people. He gets real scared and nervous when we take him to the vet, he'll growl and act tough. but I've never seen him try to bite anybody. I truly believe he's just scared. just a growler. once he warms up to you and gets to know you, he's one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. Because he spent most of his time outside, he can be a little wild and doesn't like to sit still very long. He just needs an experienced owner who has the time to help him adapt to a new environment. We're looking for the right home where Jack can get some patience and understanding. (local pickup only I have no way to transport him very far.)
