Story
Axel is a goofy, loving four year old pup. After three babies, four cross country moves and two deployments in the past three years, we have come to realize that we are not able to offer the stability and quality of life that he needs. Overall he is a great dog but he is anxious, flinchy and always on the go so he would be better in a home without small children. His favorite past time is playing fetch, hiking and playing in water. He has the biggest heart and deserves the best home.

✨Cricket✨ 🎂 Approximate birthday: 2/16/22 🦴 Breed: Mix breed - maybe Husky/Shepherd ⚖️ Weight: 💔She has actually been at the shelter since August 26, 2024! She was seized but is now available for adoption. 🐶 She is good with other dogs! She’s had several outdoor playmates! She also lived in a home with 5 other dogs previously. We can always schedule a meet and greet with any potential housemates AFTER we get an approved application on file. 👧 She has been fine with our dog savy kid tester. Ashton’s 8 years and has always been around animals since she was born. So you can always bring your kiddos to meet in person. 🐱She passed his initial cat test and we believe she could coexist in a home with them. ✅ She is FULLY vetted already 🫀🪱 She is heartworm positive 💔, and we do keep her on monthly preventative for the slow kill method. Anyone interested in adopting must have a plan with their veterinarian for future treatment/prevention. 💲Her adoption fee is $125 which includes includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (Rabies, parvo/distemper/lepto, and kennel cough), heartworm test (age appropriate), heartworm prevention while in our care, and microchip. 🪪 We require a valid drivers license for background check. 😍 We do not have any pull fees for approved rescues! We are VERY rescue friendly and can usually help with transportation. 🐾Interested in adopting? Stop by during normal business hours to meet her, and fill out an application! Mondays 10AM-3PM, Thursdays through Saturdays 10AM-3PM. 📧 Not close? You can email us at muhlpets@yahoo.com to request an application. German Shepherd Dog Boxer

Female, 6 yrs 7 mos

Details
Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Patches is a very sweet, playful pup who enjoys running and playing with our other dogs outside. She is scared of new people and gets upset by changes in her regular daily routines. She will require a patient and understanding family to help her make a smooth transition into life at home. Her ideal living situation would be a quiet home with a fenced in yard. She would love a canine sibling who can show her the ropes and give her some much needed confidence. Patches is considered special needs, due to her anxious personality - she wasn't socialized with humans as a puppy and will need a patient and understanding family (preferably with another dog) to work with her to help her feel comfortable in her new home and around new people. She would love to have a fenced yard and preferably another doggy sibling to help ease her transition into her adoptive family. She loves playing with other dogs, running outside, and playing with toys. If you are interested in adopting this animal from us, please visit our facility at 6301 U.S. Highway 68 East, Benton, KY 42025. All adoption applications and interviews must be completed in person at the facility after meeting the animal. All unaltered animals are required to be spayed/neutered by the adopter's veterinarian by the date indicated on the animal's adoption contract. We adopt animals out within a 3 hour radius from our Benton, KY facility.
