Story
Hi, I’m Ranger! 🐾 I’m a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix looking for my forever home. I’m feeling pretty nervous right now since coming to the shelter, and the world feels a little scary. But with a little patience, kindness, and lots of lovins, I start to come right out of my shell.I walk great on a leash and enjoy getting outside to explore. I also don’t mind other dogs and would love a home where I can feel safe and learn that everything is going to be okay. With the right person by my side, I know I’ll blossom into the loyal companion I’m meant to be. 🖤🐶#AdoptRanger #GermanShepherdMix #AdoptDontShop #ShelterDog #RescueDog #ForeverHomeWanted #AdoptMe

This is Daisy (May) she is a sweetheart loves to be outside. Actually anywhere people are. She gets along with other dogs. She likes to chase cats. Would be good with older children. She loves all kids but she doesnt realize how big she is. So younger kids may get knocked down do to her wanting to pet or give them kisses. Not picky on dog food. She was potty trained but with nice weather has been enjoying outside time alot. She likes walks and absolutely loves being petted. She barks but only to alert you someone or something is near. She has not met anyone she has not liked

Story
Born 1/5/26 | German Shepherd - American Pit Bull Terrier Puppy   I’m still a baby, which means I’ll need guidance as I grow! My future family should be ready to help me learn potty training, crate training, house manners, and basic obedience.   Because I’m a German Shepherd / American Pit Bull Terrier mix, I’m expected to grow into a LARGE, strong, intelligent, and energetic dog.  My momma is an 86# German Shepherd, my dad is a 63# APBT.  Dogs like me do best with structure, training, and an active home!   One of the most important things for puppies like me is early socialization and exposure to the world. Meeting new people, experiencing different environments, and learning how to interact with other animals helps prevent fear and unwanted behaviors as we grow!!   Puppies are very adaptable, but we rely on our humans to teach us how to be the best dogs we can be. With consistent training, positive experiences, and a committed owner, I have all the potential to grow into the best pup!   If you’re ready for the time, patience, and responsibility that comes with raising a smart, active puppy, I’d love to be a part of your family!!   Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Will need DHLPP Booster Vaccines, Dewormer and a Rabies Vaccine at age appropriate times. Adoption fee is $160.    If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come along and some dogs may require all family members to come as well! If it's a match, you can your new dog home the same day. We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!    See all of our adoptable pets here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/adoptable-dogs-and-cats   Adoption Hours: Monday & Saturday 11am-4pm | Tuesday & Friday 11am-5pm | Wednesday 11am-6pm  | Thursday & Sunday CLOSED ##2683439##

Story
Howdy hi! I'm Zeus and I am 1.5 years old! I am a young boy that is full of life! I am a Velcro dog, meaning I want to be by your side all the time! I'm young enough to want to go on walks and be active but I don't have an overwhelming amount of energy. I have a backstory of first being in a home where I was kept in a crate all of the time because they didn't have time for me (so I may be crate trained but I may also not like it so be patient) I then went to a home where they kept me outside in the backyard, they said I liked the cat that lived outside with me but I started digging holes because I was bored. That being said I have never dug holes that the staff knows of here and I would really just like to be with my people. I can be shy at first but go slow and you will find I want to be glued to you and a big cuddle bug!!Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!

Story
I'm Athena and I am 1 years old! I am a smart, active girly that can't wait to find a furever home! I came into the shelter as a stray and my owners called and felt it was best they didn't reclaim me. True to my breed (shepherd mix) I have lots of energy and I'm very smart. That's part of the reason I ended up here. I kept getting loose, mostly breaking my tie outs. The lack of exercise and my need to expel my energy made for a dangerous situation because I kept getting bored and getting loose, so my owners were afraid I would eventually get hit on the busy road they lived off of. I would prefer a home with a fence but this isn't a deal breaker if you are willing to train me (like I said I am very smart!) and be sure to give me plenty of exercise. Daily walks would be a must if you don't have a fenced in yard. I'm not the biggest on toys but I do like a good bone to chew. I had young kids in my home and I was happy living with them. I am crate trained for when you need to go to work or make a grocery run, and I am also housetrained! What more could you ask for, I'm young and willing to learn so please take a chance on me and you wont be disappointed. I will always make sure you get your daily steps in!!I was adopted for a short time. I did really well with the other dog in the home, I was housetrained, I listened to basic commands and I did really well with the kiddos in the home! However, I did not make good friends with the cats and therefore did not make a good companion for this particular family. They were so sad they had to surrender me, and said if I was cat friendly, that they 100% would have kept me. I just happen to have a prey drive for small animals, including cats, which is another trait of my breed.Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!
