Meet Daisie! Daisie is a 2 year old, 48# Shepherd/Husky mix. Daisie was owner surrendered after her family could no longer take care of her. Daisie does enjoy being with her humans! She does do ok with older kids; but small, busy kids and babies make her uncomfortable. She is a NO for cats & other small animals in her home. Daisie did do ok with the other dog in her previous home but can be a bossy girl. She does get along great with another dog we have at the shelter, who is the same size and energy level! She is very active and playful. Daisie does the Husky "talking" when she wants attention! She will benefit from daily exercise to help her be the best dog she can be! She goes to and from her kennel with no issues. Mostly potty trained, does good through the days here at FCAC. Daisie came in to us with a severe skin infection. She has gotten medicated baths and been switched to a diet that doesn't include chicken. Spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $25 for the month of November!! She kept Jedda safe and posted her on the local lost and found site. Soon Jedda's owner was found. The owner brought Jedda home and then found out no dogs were allowed where she lived. She then just tossed this young puppy out the door to survive on her own. Meet Holly! Holly is approximately 55#, 3 years old and a Belgian Malinois - Cattle Dog mix. Holly is a very spunky girl and is ready to go, go, go all the time!! We are guessing that she will likely make a great sidekick companion on a farm! Holly is not a fan of being cooped up here in a kennel! She knows the great outdoors is out there and her instincts tell her that she needs a "job" to do!! Food/treat motivated. Trying to understand the concept of leash walking. Needs to be on a schedule/routine for potty training. Holly will need help to learn basic obedience commands. She will need a new owner that is willing to teach her the correct ways to be the best that she can be! Holly likes kids, however they need to be older children, as she needs work with her manners on jumping up and being "mouthy". She is overall a friendly dog towards people, just a bit rough around the edges. Holly is very bossy with other dogs. Holly is a NO for cats and small animals in her new home.
